There´s a new option out there.

I know this is an old post, but I´m hoping it will help someone else. I´ve tried www.sharpguitartraining.com and I think it´s really good, cause you can turn off frets or strings and concentrate on a specific area of the fretboard. It also has a feature called noteHound that will show you what notes you can find easily and which ones you can´t, so you apply a filter to practice with those specific notes. I´m just starting out but already can see it´s very effective.
    Cheers!
