Was looking to buy a new monitor to replace my 6 year old one. I was considering either a 4k or 144hz one (but leaning towards 144hz).
Along with this upgrade, I was thinking to also beef up my computer so it can output either 4k or 144hz.
I currently have a 4690k @4.2ghz and a gtx 980ti SC+.
If I get another 980ti and put them into sli, what can I expect in terms of fps on ultra (with all the nvidia stuff) for 4k or the 1440p 144hz monitors?
Interesting. 980 ti sli actually only averaged 40 fps Hopefully update will help. :POriginally Posted by YazX_ Go to original post
Ty for the video.
You are very welcome, do note that SLI scaling is not that great yet, so it would get much better with updated drivers and profile which will result at least in 30%-40% boost, another thing is at 4k you don't actually need AA, maybe 2xMSAA with MFAA if needed but i don't think its needed at all, and last PCSS and PCSS Ultra are very demanding options and no card can them without getting to its knees especially on 1440p and 4k, so the optimum graphics settings for this game on 4k is no AA (2xMSAA + MFAA IF NEEDED), no PCSS and everything else is maxed out and you will get 60+ FPS while playing.Originally Posted by DaGengster Go to original post
