When using the microphone for the Wii U (the external mic that plugs into the console's USB port), is it possible to hear our voice mixed-in with the audio output?

though certain features (karaoke ones) use the microphone, the game doesn't record the voice.

Thanks Zuzu, I don't mean to ask if it "records" your voice (like for playback), but is it possible to hear your voice amplified thru the television speakers as you are singing?
