    Hi.

I'm playing IL2,FB,AEP since the release of the original. I like this game a lot, spend several hours playing it but to be honest I'm a bit disappointed at the moment.

I finally managed to get a new computer. It's the first time I can play this game on excellent settings. The landscape and everything looks great BUT...

I can't really see the enemy planes anymore, especially Spits. They are practically invisibly against the ground over 500 meters distance.

I'm sorry but that really s*cks. Why do I have to choose between great graphics or visibility. Usually when you play a game on the highest settings everything improves. In this game it gets worse. Isn't there anything that can be done about that? I want to play with higher settings AND see enemy planes.

    Did you hear about camouflage?

Just joking. Try adjusting monitor settings, may be helpful. If not, you can rely on one thing: reflection. If the adversary is at appropriate ungle, there would be little reflection from sunshine, which would make him visible (he would appear as a moving brighter spot).

BTW, I don't see lower adversaries neither (if they have good camo and are far below).

    A radical possibility......

Use a paint program to enormously brighten up the cammo skins, that helps visibility against the ground. I experimented a little with it, and it seemed to work well. Test with External View but Be Sure to examine the skin from afar with the full range of External View translation.

my monitor has ultra bright mode, i turn that on and i can see planes against ground. of course it makes it alittle harder to see planes in the sun. if you dont have bright mode try playing with monitor settings.
