Still waiting on those Nitro Cell stats, Ubisoft

You guys were sooo eager to nerf the shield, you threw all kinds of statistics at us to justify it.

But when it comes to the Nitro Cell, you guys are mysteriously silent when it comes to its stats, even when I've asked multiple times for them. It's obvious that it's overpowered, and if you looked at the stats, you would see so. Look at the best players out there -- the majority of their kills on Defense come from tossing Nitro Cells. More kills are had from tossed Nitro Cells than from frag grenades. The majority of shield user deaths are from tossed Nitro Cells.

Come on, Ubisoft, just give us the stats already so that you can balance the thing.

The nitro cell is never really a problem for me and my friends, and we play shield quite often.

Just keep your distance and be careful around corners. And NEVER stand around a barricade after you have breached it, because there might be a nitro incoming.

But we play on PC so it is easier to quickly react and turn around with the mouse and run away in time, which is much harder with a slow controller on the consoles.

You'd be suprised how difficult it's not

I mean. Really? Nitro Cells are perfect at the moment if you ask me. The explosion radius is pretty pathetic and the only times you really get to kill Shield users (Or people in general.) is if they're either in a bad spot (staircase, closed of room, corner, hugging a breaching hole etc.) or they're too stupid to move when people start tossing the bloody thing.
The second I see someone put away their gun while I play shield (which is rare, played Blitz a lot in the beginning) I just un-shield and bloody barrage the kid with an entire mag.
If you know the basics of point and click, you can easily down or kill whoever's tossing it at you.

One of my favoirte kills ever was when I met a Smoke player 1o1, he tossed the Nitro cell straight towards me and I shot one bullet, which penetrated the Mid-air Ntiro and hit him straight in the head.

If you ask me, the Shield to ADS should be nerfed, as sniping people while using a shield is surprisngly easy. (Mostly as I have been the victim of that lol.)

The fact that you are calling for a Nerf without the stats, just shows that you are already biased and that the releasing of the stats would in fact mean nothing to sway your preconceived notion that the nitro cell is OP.

That being said, this is getting ridiculous with the calls for things to be nerfed just because someone hates getting killed by them. Adjust your gameplay, be quite and listen for the beeping, and use your drone to see what is around a corner or at the top of the stairs before you proceed. Oh yeah, and shoot out the cameras so the defenders don't know where you are coming from.

Bottom line... adjust your play style if you find yourself dying from one weapon/gadget in particular, but don't come on to the forums crying about so and so and asking for a nerf. It is like a toddler complaining when someone else does something better then them, the answer is to practice and get better, not to artificially handicap the other kid.

    Prove any of these statements.

Also there are 3 attackers (including recruit) that can equip frag grenades, meanwhile there are 6 defenders (including recruit) that can equip nitro cells. Is 6 still greater than 3? Is there more nitro available on the map than frag nades? Does this even compute with you?

If you get hit by nitros you must be doing something wrong.... just like jumping in Kapkans traps (if you die to them, it´s your own fault).
I only died once to nitros at all... and it was obviously my own fault because there were only 5 seconds left to secure the room and i rushed in from the same side we had a gunfight for about 20 seconds.
All other situations i never died to nitro (because you can hear and see them and got enough time to run away or kill your opponent) and since i only get kills with them against totally noobs or people playing this game like every other FPS (COD, BF, CS, etc...), i just stopped using them and prefer picking shields or barbedwire, because they´re a lot more usefull in severall situations.

Nitro charges is not a issue if you play smart. every attacker has 2 drones, use them to scout ahead. If you see a defender and there are only 3 operators that can have nitro, then be careful, hey maybe even trow a frag grenade at them before they nitro you :P maybe take another route is also a good option, you have to think to come up with solutions on your own. Please stop making pointless threads about the same thing.
