What about a game mode where the three factions gonna be fighting? | Forums

Hello im new in Ubisoft forums, and i'm very exited about this game play, For honor looks awesome. Great idea.

So what about a game mode with a large map where the three factions could be there with a lot of players and with or with out bots, it could make epic battles.
If this question is already asked, im sorry for this useless post.

That's pretty much how the Dominion game mode already works in For Honor.

Players are not locked to a certain faction when they join a match, you can choose exactly what faction and hero you wish to play.

There are already some videos out portraying the gameplay, have you seen any yet?

To be more specific this is how it was during the previous Alpha. It may be changed, they could have done it that way just to make sure they could test the Oni out without restricting testers to certain factions. I hope that at least there's an option for teams to be restricted to a particular faction.

Maybe I'm just reading the OP differently, but I thought they were asking about three-sided matches---team of Knights vs team of Samurai vs team of Vikings. If that's the case, there was this thread made early on that discussed that.

If not, then I agree with this.

The devs entire design philosophy in having three factions is for you as a player to pick a side, based upon a variety of criteria (internal values, battle philosophy, who you think looks cool, etc.), within a context of there being a large conflict between those factions, and I think that's undermined if you can just pick any Hero/class of any faction you want.

A 4v4v4 is a good idea as many people have said. Basically a multi team deathmatch. I can't see why this can't fit in to For Honor.....for now..

I'd welcome that mode, but is 4 players enough for one team in that case? I'm not so sure.
