    Lost 200 hours of gameplay

Hi today after the update my device had me to start from lvl 1. No problem this happened before. Only problem was, once the "sync with server" message came up, I was greeted with the option of restoring from a Lvl 2 profile.

I was lvl 43, placed in the top 0.3% of the world, had some top-1000 times, and spent some money on diamonds once (I think 9 CHF?) ... my username prinex666

The irony: I logged on because I finally caved in and wanted to buy the 48 CHF "Xmas gal" package as a thank you to Ubisoft for this great game .. but well maybe I will reconsider.

PLEASE can you restore my profile ?

BTW No way Im restarting the game from Lvl 1. Sorry. Most of my bikes where 1 step to completely upgraded. Im not grinding this again.

    EDIT: This post worked

I can help you out as this is a normal process on Android if not a little disconcerting.
You're at the stage after the initial 3 races where the rock falls on your head,
Both options say level 2, pick either but I pick local just in case.
Then do a race and after levelling up back out to the village then click the in game U-Play icon.
After signing in and going back to the game it will sync up to the server with the correct options.
If it doesn't sync up initially then enter and exit the garage to prompt the sync up.
You can then pick between Local (level 1) or U-Play (Your level).

It is very disconcerting having to pick "local", then see the message "your server profile will be overwritten", then do 1 race, and then the old 43 profile comes back up.

Suggestion: get the user to enter the uplay logon before this ?

Anyway problem solved, marry Xmas and happy racing

    You're welcome prinex666,
It wouldn't surprise me if this hasn't happened to nearly everyone on Android at one point or another, it needs addressing as there will be lot's of people that just walk away from the game after a reset. I'm glad you persevered and didn't just quit from frustration of losing the progress and the time invested.

    Hello Prinex666,

I am glad you managed to restore your progression. Indeed, it is quite a shock to lose your level, especially when so advanced. As NOBBYHOBSON said, congrats on persevering!!

The Uplay button being available sooner in the game is an option the devs are seriously considering
