Well I don't know what is happening but my game is going wonky here is what is going on:

1- Severe Lag causing freezing and occasional crashing ever since the new update this is annoying especially in bunker and during the events
2- In bunker when I win a map it sometimes takes a while to load and then let's me spin the wheel twice or sometimes 0 times

cant say more than what i always say :
-clean cache (best option)
-restart your phone (off, on)
-and i never recommend reinstaling the game(its risky)
it sounds simple but worth a try

i have this sometimes, its cool to get 2 spins from a plat run

I can second this. Since the update, I have had random freezes while playing tracks (freezes for 3-5 seconds, then returns, usually ruining a run). Since TODAY, I have had not only freezes, but complete crashes (twice in 3 play sessions). This was an issue with the last event which I thought was fixed. I clear my cache regularly.

Please also look at why game is starting sooooo slowly and lags, does not work for several minutes after start of appliance (Nexus 7, Android 5.1.1).
It always happens after tablet is shut down, charged, then started and then TF started, i.e. each morning
