Hi, Thanks for that. I am not sure if this was intended to fix the issue with iphone Controller App for JD2016 on PS4. I will try it in a bit, but am worried it might mess something else up. Want to make sure this solution is definitely intended for this problem.Originally Posted by UbiVertigo Go to original post
Also....I have two move controllers which the game says I can use. They are charged and ready, but for some reason they are not connecting when I select that option. I am pressing the PS button on the move controller and the small red light near the bottom of the move controller is blinking, but it will not connect.
Thanks.

It's just the game that doesn't recognise controlers? Does your console see them?

That is a good question. I don't think the console sees them. The person at GameStop told me I might have to add them in the add devices area. But when I went it, they didn't seem to show up to be added, I went into to controllers, and to bluetooth devices. but I really don't know if I needed to be doing something else.Originally Posted by UBI-Zuzu Go to original post
Knowing this, do you have other thoughts?

I'm so sorry, I forgot what thread I was in and thought you were having internet connectivity issues. This is the FAQ that I should have linked. Let us know if that helps.
As for the motion controllers, do you also have the Playstation Eye Camera set up? That is required for the Motion Controllers to function. I only ask because I didn't see it mentioned above. Also, keep in mind that you aren't able to mix-and-match input devices--so, one player can't use a motion controller while another uses their phone.
I've come to realize that most of the issues listed can be solved by one simple change on your router. By default most routers use public DNS server settings and apply them to the local devices. I changed my DNS server to be my local router IP and it instantly fixed all issues I had with the app not connecting to my Xbox One. I have since been using it seamlessly without any issues.
This means that your device will look to your router for DNS first before it goes out and connects to the public DNS servers. This was easily configured in the DHCP settings on the router.

First time I used it everything worked fine with no problems. The next time my phone is not finding a console. I turn off/on phone and xbox. I uninstall app then reinstall. I check the router and my internet connection is fine, wifi working on both phone and xbox. I tried turning on the phone after all the way through the game menu after being asked to connect the phone. I tried turning on the game and the phone app in all kinds of different sequences. I don't know what changed since the first play but I cannot seem to fix it.

My Xbox One is on the same wifi network as my 3 phones and none of them can be found by my game. I launch the game and run the scan, then I go to my phone and they can't be found.
I've heard the controller only works on demo version, but there's no demo on Xbox Live marketplace to test.
