So here's the story... i bought the retail disk for far cry 4 in January. Everything worked fine until about June, from that point on i couldn't do anything. Far Cry no longer shows up in my library and i cant update the uplay app. when i try to update the app it starts the download then all of a sudden the download speed drops to 1kb per second. After this happens it launches the older version of uplay with my games still missing. I've tried uninstalling uplay and far cry and re installing but after i do that i have the exact same problems. Can someone please help me?

make sure you are using the updated version of the Uplay Client you can get it here
