This sounds like an issue with the code, which would be something to talk to G2A about, but there is a way to check on it.
Please submit a ticket to support.ubi.com and explain just as you have here. They can check what permissions are associated with the key you have, telling them if it's a problem with the install/redemption or the key itself.
Sorry for redirecting you to support, but in this case, they can better assist you.
thanks for getting back to me I have also took this up with ubi support and sent them a receipt from g2a stating that the game bought was the deluxe edition but they seem very slow with responding I have also contacted g2a and they don't seem to helpful either. its a shame as this looked like a nice game but every ones going to blame the other and end result is me the poor customer gets screwed which will result in me no longer recommending or using g2a again also will not use u-play again this has left a very sour taste in my mouth from what should have been a simple and enjoyable process
Hello Queeg2013,
Ubisoft Customer Support will probably not answer as they can't do anything.
We don't have any relation with G2A, we don't provide them the keys, we don't know where they come from.
My advice would be to not buy from that type of website. There are regularly discount sales on Steam and Uplay and it's much safer.
Cheers,
yes I have a steam account and they provide a very good service with some truly great sales and support to match. I have bought many keys from g2a and never had a problem redeeming them on steam just this one with uplay which many people had the same problem after buying from steam. im going to strike red lynx and ubisoft from my list of reutable companies from now on any games I like the look of that require uplay I shall get from my mate captain hook at a much bigger discount. first you advise me to go to ubi support then you say they probably wont answer because there is nothing they can do unreal and as for buy your ubi key from ubi if that's how you want it stop selling these keys to cheap key sites you can track where they came from cant you anyway great way to treat the customer I feel great knowing red lynx & ubisoft value there customers so much have a nice xmassOriginally Posted by En0- Go to original post
Hello Queeg,
I will try to make it clearer: we don't sell any key to G2A.
So, yes, I want to help you and I give you the advice to never buy from this type of website because we can't do anything about it.
If you really want to play a game and can't afford full price, there are 3 to 4 times a year some real big discounts on some very safe platforms (Steam, Uplay).
So yes, that's the way I want to help customer: explain the problem, advise what to do.
I can't do more.
Cheers,
