Seems like a good idea for promoting the game ☺ Surprising as it seems, a lot of my friends haven't heard of For Honor or only vaguely recall it from E3. I'm sure once an open beta is announced there will be a lot more interest and ever growing fan base.

Once the CAT ended i totally forgot about the regular forums!
For Honor was just a sweet memory in the past, It was a pleasant surprise to get an email yesterday about this.

Looks like I'm gonna have to do less typing and more fighting in upcoming events to get that other badge, gotta collect them all!

It does say that you are more than welcome to apply to become an Ambassador.

If you have not received an email, don’t worry. We appreciate each and every one of you and will have more opportunities in the future. Besides that, we’re always looking for good contributors whether you played during the Closed Alpha or not. If you’re interested in becoming an ambassador and think you have what it takes, send us an email and tell us why.

But I do see where you're coming from. Although I am sure everyone who's been selected deserves it, I just think... it's a sort of unnecessary divide.
There are certainly people who has been contributing and has not been selected. I can only see this being perceived as a giant middle finger to them.

Not sure if you're referring to the Alpha or Ambassador's program, but I'm only on console so I wasn't eligible for the Alpha, which I'm only slightly upset about---mostly because I'm really anxious to play it---and if all it really takes to be an Ambassador is being very active here, and overly enthusiastic about the game, then I am slightly puzzled that I didn't get an email. Alpha participants could have been prioritised, which is fine, since they're obviously more knowledgeable than I am about the game itself, but I'll be here all the time for the forseeable future anyway, 'ambassador' or not (too excited to not be).

*EDIT* The Email still isn't working for me. I keep getting an error that 'Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently' and 'Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table'.
