Hi there,
I am on iOS, latest Version of TF downloaded today (the one with the Christmas Update).
Now I want to buy the Xmas Pack, but I cannot connect to the shop, it shows the WLAN bars with a red line, I cannot purchase anything in the shop.
Whe I hit the connect button it tries to connect with the store but a minute later it tells me it cannot connect to the store.
Anyone an idead what I can do, or is the shop purchase down for everyone?
Cheers
Oh. At leasts it's not just me then.
Tried over mobile data and wifi and it just won't connect.
Help?
Same here, neither WiFi nor LTE works. I cannot connect to the store...
Same thing was going to post about it, to know if its on my end or not. now i know
Accidentally posted about this in the Christmas thread. I've tried restarting my router, reloading the game, etc. I think this is a Frontier exclusive problem since all the IAPs in my other games work fine.
Thank you for informing about the problem. We are investigating the issue and will inform when we know more.
For now there is a workaround if you use Uplay account.
1. First make sure you have been online in the game with your Uplay account so that your progress has been saved to the cloud. Remember which level your Rider is.
2. Delete the game and install it from the Appstore.
3. Play until you are asked to insert a player name. After that you can connect to Uplay.
4. Log in to your Uplay account and when prompted, take your save game from the server. (The server progress option should show your Rider level in the game)
5. You might need to wait for the Downloadable content to finish but the Shop should be back online
Sorry for the trouble and please contact me or the support if you continue having problems even after doing these steps!
Kind of a tedious process, but I completed it within 15 minutes. Sure enough the store is now able to connect, and I didn't lose anything in the backup.Originally Posted by T0ffler Go to original post

Worked for me although there must be an easier option after all....in any case, thanks T0ffler!Originally Posted by T0ffler Go to original post

Also for the overall process of reinstalling the game for whatever reason, and as mentioned in other threads, we are improving the process making it easier to reinstall the build and login to UPlay without having to go through the tutorial. Will be featured in future releases.
