Does anyone see all these crossplatform tracks? When were they planning on uploading the thousands of tracks?
Oozie, you realize Fusion is literally dead these days. By not making another title...it will be much worse in 3 months. All of these updates for a ghost town. Was the 400 people playing mp out of 1 million too eluding a ratio for you to process?
This means a very small decimal of a single percentage are playing. Track downloads, also very low. Tournament numbers are around 650 players.
I'm here to help buddy. Let me know if you want me to explain fractions and so on. After all, we go way back to early Evo.
I'd like to see Fusion as a free game Of the month on both consoles. This may help a little. It's hard to imagine Fusion being the only trials for the next 2 years.
From what I've seen it is pretty garbage. I applaud you for making the community picks actual community picks and not "hey, random redlynx employees like this builder" but at the end of the day I want to make a ham sandwich... and you are not offering me the ability to make my desired sandwich. In fact.. this sandwich is loaded with calories and it sucks balls! On the other hand... its like I don't care at all.
**** happens and who you gonna call.... probably Vegas Trash cause his tracks are pretty full proof. He is a guy and obviously he knows how to build sweet stuff because I've been told such! Onward Vegas.. onward.
Hello Booped,
To make things clear: There is nobody at Ubisoft telling RedLynx what we should do. We're totally free of our strategy and projects. We just have to make at least as much money as we spend. We present our plans regularly for the studio and for the projects, we get feedback but any project that comes from RedLynx is because the team decided to do it. Ubisoft is here to support us and the relationship is very healthy.Originally Posted by booped Go to original post
Obviously, doing a game like Trials is expensive and appeal to a niche. There is a reason why there is almost no clone of Trials and none of the few ones are really successful: it requires a tons of very unique skills to develop and they are very different from most of the more mainstream games. But that's a risk as much as a strength. Up to us to find the right balance between uniqueness and audience large enough to support our ambitions.
I think RedLynx games have 3 components:
- Skill based: physic based gameplay, leaderboards, etc...
- Community based: UGC, competitions, events, long term support...
- Unexpected silliness: At a first sight, the game is very serious (competition, gameplay skills, etc...) and when you dig in you find all sort of craziness (Easter eggs, challenges, skill games, squirrels, penguin...)
So depending on the size of the project, we'll always have 2 or 3 of these components more or less developed. A big project will have all 3 very developed, a small project will probably have only 2 of these components.
I think that's what makes RedLynx games unique and where the team is great at, but also what the players expect.
Cheers,
Hello Purpleoozi,
We thought about that but it's not allowed on any console to mention the existence of another concurrent platform, which is totally understandable. So, we're always trying to be close to the limit to fight the issue of the split community but doing that type of search was off limit. At the same time, doing automated cross platform was also off limit initially, so maybe in a next game we'll find a solution but for Fusion it will stay like that.Originally Posted by purpleoozi Go to original post
Global leaderboards require to use non-native usernames (either using the Uplay username or the PSN username on X1 and vice versa), this is off limit.
Cheers,
hello im alittle puzzled , this feature as been released for 3 days now and when i go on track central im only seeing around 10 fusionshared tracks. Now its been 3 days now and usually ps4 even low double that amount within that time. I was wondering if this is working properly because can there seriously only be around 10 tracks that have been uploaded on xbox and pc combined in 3 days. I also have heard of people releasing tracks after the start date of this feature and they are not to be found in track central , under any name. Is it working as it should ?. If its all really working fine its alarming to see just actually how much support for the game as been coming from other platforms. I guess xbox lost a alot when the 360 was left behind but still , ps4 for me , if the crossplatform is working correctly obviously as become a massive part in the trials franchise and does show that fusion must have been a success regarding next gen. Where are all these fantastic builders who where a regular recommended builders or featured builders ?. I was expecting to see a flood of awesomeness instead it seems a little underwhelming.at the moment.
. Are some just simply not coming through and getting lost in the matrix lol. hopefully this the case and there is masses of awesomeness floating around in a trials vortex ,
Also what you doing working weekends devs , get ya selfs home and build us some tracks ha ha ha
You're preaching to the wrong choir. I play Fusion for 15 min a week. I've already done the whole "this is what's wrong with Trials Fusion" bit on these forums. I don't need you to systematically breakdown the numbers to fractions, decimals, or ratios.Originally Posted by VEGASTRASH Go to original post
Everyone knows exactly how I feel about Fusion. But since I've been there/done that (suspended and banned), I now come to these forums to offer my suggestions to potentially make the game more user-friendly for not only myself, but for you, the community, and future players alike, regardless of how dead it may be.
I agree with every point you make and every point you've made. Unfortunately my leash here is so short that (until now) I won't publicly or openly agree to 99% of your posts. I could add infinite amounts of complaints or suggestions to go with yours, but I feel you do a good enough job on your own, that someone like myself can apply my focus elsewhere.
At the end of the day though, you're gonna be that guy standing in the desert wearing a Trials Fusion t-shirt, streaming Trials Fusion on Twitch, building Trials Fusion tracks, awarded Trials Fusion featured builder of the month, giving Trials Fusion interviews, and posting on the Trials Fusion forums.
You can do the math on that one.
Thank you for your quick response bud , i can imagine something as big would come with issues at first. As they say nobody can be 100 percent as to whats going to happen within the digital world.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post![]()
