For android you need root to slow down an app, but those it help? Not really (never tried ) but if we play x1.00 speed and if we change it suddenly to x0.25 (yes we have more time to think and react) but we are just too much used to the normal speed that we wouldnt be able to play correctly
NOTICE: I tried it with "Bike Race" never tried with Trials Frontier cuz i have no root on this phone
so dont bother :P

My phone dictates what speed I play at. Sometimes I get to play normal, sometimes it's 2-3x faster (moving sprites like saws and fire cause this), sometimes it's mega slow and laggy (coin checkpoints cause this). I would think that getting to play consistently at slow motion would be an advantage and would be mega cheap. I actually have suspicions that certain riders already use this feature, but I won't name any names.

I've never agreed with cheating to beat a game.....It defeats the whole point of playing it in my opinion and slowing down the game would definitely be cheating as you would have more time to set your angles and land properly etc. !!

What ! isn't slowing down the game to better oneself takes out the true competitiveness of this game
I wonder who would do such things and call themselves a winner

Yea, power saving mode is going to throttle you cpu, gpu, ticks etc... still is the METHOD to cheat the game, but to what purpose? There's no pleasure in running the game like that...
