    Hit detection is completely broken

I don't know if it's the servers, the tick rate, the ping, the hit boxes or whatever...
But hit detection is completely, absolutely broken!

You shoot a guy before he shoots you and yet he kills you...
Then you see in the kill cam that he shot you first, something completely different from what you saw while playing.
Or you see you were totally exposed while, in your first person view, you were not.
Or you see he shooting the air and you being hit.
Or you see he shooting your chest and you getting hit in the leg, in the head...

It gets more and more infuriating everytime I play, because it happens every freaking match!
And it's far from being the only issue with this game.
I don't even dare playing ranked matches before you fix this mess.

How can you aim for create an e-sport game and release a multiplayer only game in this sorry state?
Ghost Recon Phantoms was F2P and ad much less issues and much more features.

It is VERY messy. Far too messy for a game that has had both an alpha and beta release.

Add that to the poor quality servers, the low server tic rate, and a lag compensation system that FAVOURS high latency players, and you have a game that's only fit for casual play (at best!)

You can't release a tactical shooter, based upon map control, aim, and timing, which is so fundamentally undermined by bad hit detection, weak server update rates, and a horrible lag compensation model...

    It's utterly pointless.

Ubisoft have the makings of a VERY good game here. One that could last for a LONG time.

However, they need to address the refined points that make these types of games so effective. At present while they have the basics of the gameplay intact, the actual mechanics are horribly under-developed...

yup its broken. the people who disagree are the ones with fiber optic cable connections. if you have anything lower then cable modem, your shots wont register. hopefully soon they'll fix it.

An analogy can be made here where this game is like a brain that is capable of so much greatness - but the parts of the brain that allows the rest of it to function (controlling breathing and heart pumping) and use that greatness is so under developed the whole thing just dies before it gets the chance.

Fix the netcode of this game it should be the priority. Otherwise this game will die.
Hit detection is bad, too much bullet shots and no marker.
The tickrate is too low, too much death behind a wall.
The pings are too high, where are the servers in canada?.
Dont try to make profit on server, or let community own their own dedicated server for this game if you want long term success.

Well the actual problem here is ..

Having a 'Good-Ping' is increasing your performance in every other game, here it can hurt you to have such a good connection especialy with such low tick rates... aslong as your ping is somewhere near the rest of all members you wont notice but as soon as you play against enemys with higher pings you will notice the effects that Tinhoso discribes

also it seems that some Operator hitboxes dont seem to fit the actual model. This is mostly seen on Def-Ops since they tend to have bigger or wider models (Kapkan and Castle seem to be massive). This sometimes causes you to be visual for enemys even your are hiding behind cover in your ego-perspective.

Also the fact that sometimes your legs or weapons clip through walls makes it seem that enemys get you in a usualy safe position. I dont wanna know how often i got reported for wallbanging somebody through a closed wall because his silencer was pointed in my direction...

Well now the biggest issue: The tickrates and the servers... Dear Ubisoft to be honest if you want this game to be competitive (and hell i would love it to be since it is a great game with a lot potential) get your servers working... a tickrate of let me guess 15 to 24? That's not working ... you HAVE TO change this asap it frustrates the most and makes people to lose faith in the game. Also and this sucks the most .. since the game is released i can count my Ranked-Matches in which nobody left or got bugged out of the game, on one hand and believe me i did enough matches to say that this is a poor statistic...

To make it even worse .. there seem to be a ton of people (now call me an idiot but they are mostly east-european.. not only but often) that just join the game to grief the rest killing everybody in the preperation time and make you kick them so they dont even get the penalty of 15 minutes. THAT is horrible and destroyes the fun of the game... i can live with frustrated defenders that jump out of the plane as soon as the prep. times ends to try to spawnkill you since there you at least can react. But teammates that attack their mates during this time should be warned and killing them should be punished without hesitation... and FFS im not talking about that 15 min penalty ... ban those idiots for 48hours so they think twice about it

my 5 cent sorry for the long text but something has to be done

Edit: Also implent a Report system for Insulting, Flaming or Griefing Players since it is not fun to have such people in your team nor in the enemy team

Same here. Also on fibre, and with a fast pc averaging more than 200fps in-game.

Connecting to EU West data centres from the UK while own ping is often max 30-35 - but everyone else seems to be on 80-150.

Constantly being shot by players who are not even on my screen. Not because of wallbang/intel/showing my player model, they just peek out and shoot me without ever showing on my client.

Utterly, utterly pointless for an fps shooter like this
