I currently play on an iPad. But I'm getting an iPod for Christmas. How can I switch my account onto my IPod so my data saves.

Just make sure you're logged into Uplay on the iPad so everything is saved on Uplays servers. Download the game on your new device, then you'll have to go through the intro and a couple races. When you see the icon, log back into Uplay and it will sync with the servers and you're good to go.
