    Lack of Primal Content

First of all, I'm a BIG Far Cry fan, I LOVED both FC3 and FC4, However it seems to me that Primal may not suceed in living up to the immense expectations that it has recieved.

Lot's of people have said that Far Cry 4 was a reskin of Far Cry 3. In my opinion, however I believe the same can be said for primal; but you are actually recieving LESS content. Let me explain:

You would likely be limited to: Bow and Arrow, Spear, Axe, Slightly Stronger Bow and Arrow, Slightly Stronger Spear, slightly stronger axe. And so on. Whereas with guns, the weapon variety is immense; these guns had different recoil patterns, different fire-rates, some were explosives, RPG's, MG's, Shotgun's and silenced pistols; which all have different stats that fit specific play-styles.

TL: DR; LESS WEAPON VARIETY, that's if Ubisoft is going to actually follow historical context.

Another problem that would stem from lack of weapon variety is weapon damage. How could you possibly make a stone weapon more damaging? How would you add some kind of weapon progression system on such primitive and basic weapons which all use the same materials?

In Far Cry 4, for me; unlocking the best weapon in the game was always awesome because it had the highest fire-rate, highest damage and highest ammo capacity, and looked like a beast. (I believe it was called the 'ripper'?) To me, it seems like there would be very little difference between the highest damaging, or final weapon in the game to a simple wooden or stone tool. I know they'll probably add some witchcraft ******** to try and give us weapon progression, like weapon enchantments. In my opinion, if implimented correctly; this could be pretty awesome, but it would feel like a forced attempt at giving a shallow game a little weapon progression, and accomplishment.

Perhaps the lack of weapons in this game can be made up by the new animals that you will be able to use to take down the enemy; however you can only use one at a time.

I was going to list more of my issues with the game, but i'll just stick with weapons for now.

What do you guys think? Let me know.

The market is over saturated with 'shooters' ..... Frankly I'm sick of guns. I can't play another freakin shooter.
I personally think that FARCRY4 went as far as you could go with a game like that. Ubisoft needed to try something new!

So, I'm really behind the new direction Ubisoft is trying. This setting is really my cup of tea. Stealth, hunting, bow and arrow, knives, spears, axes, clubs etc... I'm really excited for this game.

However, I do hear you, and you make a valid point - - it's up to Ubisoft to try to figure out how to create variety in the unlocks and upgrades available.

Ps let's not forget - we don't need to worry as Primal is a new direction sure - but they're still making FAR CRY 5.... So I'm sure that will have guns galore.
