    Hi, In IL2/FB You can make the time go faster to 8x, In PF will you be adding 10x? or even a 16x? I know this would meen a pilot moving the stick 1mm and crashing but if we put autopilot on and just wanna get across the Pacific fast 16x would be ideal.

    Any comments? or reasons why this could not be done or would it make the game process to fast and crash?

    LOL the missions I make can't handle even 2X.

    When I upgrade to AMD 128 someday, I will make missions that still can't handle 2X.

    Well I fly at 8x all the time with no problems.

    A faster mode would be cool.

    I know luthier has indicated that distance would be looked at in PF but he didn't know how the thing would be solved... 16x might be a way but no word yet...

    I know flying from Port Moresby to Wewak is a long haul so I'm hoping for some kind of different time compression or warp feature but who knows.

    God forbid you get attacked while at 16x. You would just vanish in a split second.

    Just had a crazy idea...

    What if you place a sort of cyber "black hole" that you fly through and it pops you out in another spot... you place the worm holes via mission builder as objects... wouldn't be realistic, but I think it beats mini maps which is what I am afraid of...ala Bastogne... nice map but a little compressed I'm afraid.

    Trick to the worm hole thing would be the timing of enemy fighter aircraft on the other side... luthier has alread stated there would be no triggers ... i'm just wondering how I'm gonna get those silly AI to be where I want them when I want them there.

    The two things that worry me most about playability are distance/map size/time compression and modelling of ships (damage and AAA) ... if those are done wrong then mission building and campaign play will be pretty limited. Luthier has commented as he could on both...we'll just have to wait to see or hear an announcement

    I think that 12x or 16x is defiantly a way around the distance problem.
