    try older drivers ?

set shadows to ultra ? on a 380 ?.. soft shadows is a busted Nvidia setting as is HBAO+ they are not gonna work well on AMD cards

try different settings .. dunno i dumped my AMD card (it was an ASUS factory overclocked R 9 270X very similar to your current card )

best i got out of that card was medium settings ..so i bought an Asus Strix GTX 960

best advise .. lower your settings ..to medium in 720 P ..the slowly work your way up .....to find the sweet spot

Thanks for your advice, I think i try all permutations of the settings, but keep trying. R9 380 maybe similar to your card, but a way better, and newer(support directX12), so yes i can play Far Cry 4 in Ultra settings, okay the AA is only SMAA, and the shadows are ''just'' high, but running well with these settings. I know there is a ''battle'' AMD vs Nvidia users, and the Ubisoft supports much moore the Nvidia than AMD, but business is business
    Best Regards!

You can not do anything - it's a driver issue (for this card) and should be fixed!
The driver has apparently no provisions for a R9 3xx at all - the last working driver is 15.10 for me anything newer just crashes.
