It's not punishing players that aim and hit the head because watching killcams that's clearly not what people do. They hold down the trigger and wave the right thumb stick all over the place.Originally Posted by Yurupari Go to original post
When you watch every killcam's damage log showing you that the person took at least half a mag of spray for every kill, it shows you that the player wasn't doing anything special. They weren't aiming for the head, they just happened to hit it. And firing like what's shown on the killcams, even a blind person can get headshots.
That's why I suggested in another thread that a total rebalance should have been done. Remove full auto from most of the guns, and make them burst/single fire select only. LMGs would keep their full auto status, but be balanced with either more recoil and/or lower damage.
Reward people who ACTUALLY take controlled aimed shots, not those who spray wildly and happen to hit the head or just unload enough rounds.
This game has strayed so far away from what a Tom Clancey game is meant to be. It's not a bad game for what is is, but Tom Clancey's R6 is not one of those things.Originally Posted by allstyles Go to original post
Oh I didn't know you were playing on the nintendo tv stationbox... You know that there is some kind of autoaim going on in any case? Devs are forced to make up for the extremely bad input precision of your plastic sticks.Originally Posted by DexLuther Go to original post
No, people are spraying or aiming at the chest and getting head shots. Just watch your kill cams.Originally Posted by Cookiesith Go to original post

I agree with OP
I'm playing on PS4 and about 80% of all head shots are either someone wildly moving their gun right to left and back again with a lucky head shot or the kill cam shows them firing at your chest and they get a lucky head shot from a stray bullet. (At chest meaning the sights do not go up past the shoulders due to recoil or aim correction)
Now it may be mostly due to the poor kill cams showing something incorrectly. Plenty of times the kill cam shows someone aiming 5 feet to your left or right and somehow getting a kill even though their sights never once cross over you. So maybe they are aiming for head shots more often but that would only account for kills where the enemy is clearly controlling their weapons aim/recoil. The amount of hip fire/wild aiming that results in a head shot would still be asinine especially considering some of the ops are wearing serious head protection (I especially do not think a small arms pistol should kill Tachanka with one head shot or the French shield operator, pulse though I'm fine with even though those sweet sun glasses have to be bullet proof right? lol)
That being said I'm glad it works both ways as a wild head shot has saved my arse plenty of times and since I use Flash wild head shots are my fav way to kills someone long range as I'm hip firing my pistol lol (you know that makes people so damn mad)
So I'd like to see operators with heavy head armor take more than one shot from small arms fire, I do think it's fine for head shots to always kill from say Glaz's sniper rifle.
(Oh well, its still a fun game and intense, though best with a 5 man team you know instead of randos)
