Lol so people are complaining about headshots now? Seriously, you want it to be like Battlefield 4 and implement a 2 shot headshot system? Leave the game the way it is. Considering all the unique abilities and characters, I'd say the game is pretty damn close with its balancing. codeX- is just trying to say that DURING THE BETA the pistol/shield was deadly accurate at a hip fire if you centered your crosshairs. As for the guy talking about PC and console players shouldn't be in the topic... Yeah, not gonna happen lol you're stuck with all of us. You think we're all a bunch of 13 year olds and we all think you're middle aged, fat and gross so get over it. I agree with Charity Diary... Leave, if you don't want a discussion with console players go find a PC only forum.
i dont want a discussion with console players running and saying "ooh, this game is so unfair, i only had 5 seconds to react. It shouldnt kill me with one magazine, i need more time, i am playing on consoles, duuuuh" and from my experience its 90% of console players. This topic proves it. All other games are going down with skill required because of console players. Everything is getting simplified because this huge market of consoles wants games easier and to win without using any brain capacity at all. If you are different - great, so uncommon.
This game is demanding alot of skill and/or using brain. Great, so rare nowadays. Headshots too op? Oh my god, how ridiculous can people get. Fighting mechanics are perfect in this game and changing it to another battlefront because people with more skills are better is plain stupid.
No one said that this game was unfair because consoles players don't have enough time to get a precise headshot like PC players can, someone was simply stating that majority of console players go for the body due to that fact and that on PC you have more precision with a mouse over a controller. That is just a fact, no one was whining and complaining. If you're trying to start the whole PC master race vs console peasants arguments then go somewhere else with it. There are plenty of punishing hard games on console just as their are on PC. The whole subject is about how easy it is to get a headshot.Originally Posted by MrWickedG Go to original post
The only thing that I agree with in your post is the second paragraph. Headshots should be a OSOK, even if someone sprays through a wall and gets lucky with dropping the enemy with a headshot. I'm pretty sure in that scenario they didn't just fire one round, they lit it up cause they knew the other person was on the other side giving them the advantage of situational awareness. In real life, people get killed by ricocheting rounds that strike the head. Although what would make this game more true to realism is if they implemented certain calibers tumbling inside of the wall and penetrating through at random points until the hole was big enough to create LOS. This would probably only be a very brief period of time before LOS was achieved due to the fire-rate of some automatic weapons.
Headshots are random, how does random add to the game?Originally Posted by rSc0rp Go to original post
Not all consolers are like that pal I for one love the game just how it is. I don't want special rules and aim assists. If I can't make a headshot and get headshotted myself it's my fault. Not all console players are cod warriors.Originally Posted by MrWickedG Go to original post
A headshots a headshots....deal with it.
Believe me, i am super glad there are console players like you, but you must admit, that console players like the ones i've mentioned are bringing games difficulty and requirements all the way down. And console market is sadly too big to just ignore it while creating a game.Originally Posted by thebigRAGOO_14 Go to original post
edit: and once again - i am super glad there are console players who like challenges in games. It really brings hope.
So many pros here talking about aiming to the head meanwhile 90% of headshots are totally random in this game: you are trying to get through the window and hit it once and it's 99% chance that you will be killed by a headshot through that hole when your opponent doesn't even care about your position: normal or upside down or at any other corner, so that's why I never enter the building through the window and actually don't see this useful exept those situations when I'm entering safe zone.
Another example which is vise versa: some thermite is hanging upside down and aiming through the window, he dosn't know where the enemy is, but when enemy appears just running to help his mates or counter-aiming thermite will just shoot those pixels, he doesn't even care where is the head because he passively knows that he will be killed by headshot aswell, so it turns out that both of them know that they have no chances to aim so they just shoot and wins the one who randomly got the headshot. How can you tell us about some aiming to the head in such situations? Most of you just shoot and that's all, stop talking this arrogant trash.
Problem with headshots lies in randomness and broken hitboxes or some other ****. It is impossible that 90% of players in this game are so good that they get headshot kill with every 2nd shot so all these comments with "I always aim to the head" are pointless, maybe you are good but not the rest of players in this game. Sometimes headshot killcam is so ridicilous that I just want to delete this game.
Returning to headshot problem: I always aim to the head and that doesn't help at all because of ****ty randomness, stop lying to yourself and other people.
I face alot of situations when I shoot some montagne or blitz when they are aiming (when there are only 2 main spots to hit: HEAD and HAND) and, magically, my bullets don't hit their heads at all, just like in some pathetic battlefiled 4 where the bullet-drop system is so ****ty that I don't even want to compare, meanwhile they just spam pressing LMB and get a headshot with some ****ty pistol, evenmore, they don't even need to aim with this random - they can kill you with hipfire.
So, in the end, I dropped the "tactical" part of this game and started playing like a regular clown in any CoD game and guess what? - I get alot of headshot streaks just running around and most of those headshots are hipfire kills which drop the enemy without any chance to counter me.
So where is the tactical part of this game? What's the point of those gadgets and specials on every operator if I can just play like a clown and kill everybody in the head because something is broken in this game? You disagree? Well, I can compare it with any BF or CoD, yes I can, you know why? Because those are clown simulators by their nature and there is a higher chance to be punished than in RSS.
Solutions:
1) Bring us "casual" mode where you can kill someone only with 2 headshots, Glaz and 417 can be exeptions.
2) Bring some damage reductions with distance, I know that this one is in game already but apply it to HEAD hitbox.
3) Fix randomness which cause this because obviously something is broken.
PS: for those pros who say "I always aim to the head" I suggest to compare their perfomance in this game with others like BF4 or any other CoD, or Insurgency, or CS etc. because I'm sure most of these players played these games. I'm pretty sure you will find out that RS6 Siege is that game where you get the most of headshot kills and this fact actually says alot because this game positions itself like a "hardcore" shooter meanwhile this game is the easiest in any way to get a headshot fest.
4) Dear devs, you'd better bring us some damage pattern than this "realicstic" headshot simulator. I'm talking about old Rainbow damage system where it matters what part of the body was shot and it affects your aiming or walking speed etc.
