    Perfectly illustrates my point.
No it doesn't. Look at my crosshairs - they're lined up closer to the neck/head area than the body in every one of those kills. Hipfire with a pistol and shield was EXTREMELY accurate in the beta. It's definitely not like that in release, which is why I don't use shields any more. I'm glad about this and pushed for changes to reduce shield user effectiveness during the beta.

In my experience, almost every head-on gunfight lasting more than one second ends with a bodyshot kill, while "panic fights" (i.e. when unexpecting enemies run into each other in a hallway) end in headshots with hardly any aiming involved. From this evidence, I deduce that aiming for heads on consoles takes too much time to be tactically beneficial, but the benefits of panic firing for headshots can be had by the youngest of toddlers.

It's obviously different on PC, where aiming is much more responsive and it takes less time to line up headshots.
I'm not going to argue there. I don't play shooters on consoles because I don't like feeling gimped using analog sticks to aim. A shame.. I would have bought Destiny if it was out for PC, but they lose me as a customer because I can't use a mouse and keyboard natively to play a shooter. Bring on The Division!

I don't care if Ubi wants to lower headshot damage on consoles, but definitely don't change anything on PC about it!

It *already* was fixed! The video was from beta, where hip-fire was WAY more accurate. My point was that my crosshairs always are aimed at the head and not the body as I play, both in beta and now in retail.

I don't think you know how hip firing works in games.

The bullet will land randomly anywhere within the crosshair. Not dead center of the hip fire. If it did that, what would be the purpose of aiming in when you could just hipfire?

    Again, Randomness.

I don't think you played beta. In the Siege Beta, bullets would frequently land damn near the center of the crosshairs every time. Not randomness.

I actually aim for the heads in this game. In CSGO you should aim for heads but I still suck at going for headshots with 1100+ hours. I find it easier to move into a headshot in Siege.

I played both betas, it was random then too.

hip firing causes the bullet to land randomly within the crosshair this is FPS 101. It was smaller during the beta so more head shots.

It was still random. Random does not equal skill.

Ok, please, just dont bring console players into topic. "We have no time to aim, we are playing on controllers". You guys are very special and want "fair rules", auto aim and more, just because you play on controllers.

I always aim for headshot, it takes more time but still i win 90% of fights and i am able to kill at least 3 before going down if its duel after duel. Skill contributes, if you want to go casual play battlefront and leave this game to players that want some challenge.
