The way i see it, the mods, arent really everyday people like you and i. They are really, an elite few clustered into one, dark dank little closet, someplace in the state of California. They're paid peanuts (sometimes literally) and they just sit...for hours on end watching, and waiting for a forum infraction. At which point they spring to action, taking the evil doer down to town...
    ok...
i got bored...this forum needs more nonsense to lighten the "My Carrier had better pitch in the waves in a very scale realistic fashion" and the "the zero had better fly like a hummingbird, but still be able to take 100's of .50cal rounds, and cannon rounds and make it back to base for a perfect landing, just like in real life, that i read in a Playstation magazine review once" threads...so
    Add your non-sense...please?

Tully is in Australia and Ivan, New Jersey (I think) though he came from Russia. They're not given a peanut.

Well all I know is that if the carriers do not model accurately the entire landing, servicing and repair; then the raising, pre-flight prep, the running of the pilot from the ready room to the aircraft, taxiing, then catapult off the deck I for one will not buy it. I mean hell, if I want arcade then I'll go to Wal-Mart and buy "Pearl Harbor Gunner" or something.

I don't think I'll buy this game unless it accuratley models Pearl Harbor time storms. I just don't think it claim be realistic or even claim to be "simulation" without them. Oh yeah, I also like bratwurst.

GREAT IDEA!!! If we complain now, we can only expect that the problems will be fixed in the first patch, so we can have more time to over analyze every little detail, and demand perfection! BRILLIANT!!!
Any one else notice...that the Corsair can't do a 180...like the space ships in star wars?
    What ****
some one get Luthier on the phone!!!

I want to see perfectly modeled Mess Hall so we can get chow before a flight. And I want a gorgious blond girlfriend waiting for me back at Oahu.

Since I suspect we'l be spending some time at Ulithi I believe we should demand a couple of Tiki Bars so the Navy, Army, and Marine airmen can brawl now and then.

Without these "crucial" features, PF might as well be thrown in the trash can.

I agree 1,000%. Crucial features like this will either make or break the realism of this sim and, of course, my willingness to support Luthier and his half-baked ideas.

Another feature: Oscars and Zeros should explode in flames when sighted by any Allied aircraft. I read about it on the internet and cross-referenced it with documentaries from the History Channel.
