Using the search bar, I found no threads discussing clans.
So I wanted to start this thread mainly to ask if the devs have discussed any plans to offer clan support, but also to ask community members what features they would like to see offered to make the game's clan experience memorable.
I would like the standard stuff you would expect like custom clan sigils which can be worn by your character, and clan vs. clan battles.
I know some of you have thought long and hard about this and have some ideas of your own--let's hear them! Maybe the powers-that-be are listening in.

Not sure what's up with the search feature, but there are dedicated threads here, here---the both of which, incidentally, were two of the first threads made here---and here, and they have been discussed in other threads (here and here).

To the suggestion, YES! A game like this seems to be tailor made for Clans or Guilds or Warbands or Clubs or Whatever other euphemism one could think of to apply to the concept.

I'm fairly sure the devs have said something about emblem creation/customisation---though we have no details on it---and it would be great if you could all have a common sigil, or coat of arms (or whatever they decide to call it) to share between you.

I agree that a game like this seems ideal for clans. More so than shooters (imo).
I mentioned earlier that a clan vs. clan mode could be cool, but I think something like this could also allow for clans of a faction to battle each other (viking vs. viking, samurai vs. samurai, knights vs. knights). Not sure if a team can fight another team of the same faction already.

It's alright. I used the search function first---searched 'clan' 'clans' 'guild' and 'guilds'---and came up with nothing as well. What was weird is that at the bottom of the list of results is a results shown of results overall, and they all were indicated more results than were shown. For example, on one it said 'Showing results 9 of 15' but there was no 'next page' or any way of getting to the other results.

The way I found them was searching my username, since I have at least one post in all of the ones I linked.

I'm not sure if you can or not. We don't have any information on how matchmaking is going to work, but I'm guessing you'll be able to have the same faction fight each other regardless.

Yeah, the search feature is pretty bad. I can only find what I want 1/4 of the time.

I'm kind of curious about how finicky people may will be with clans, honestly. Like, I imagine there could be clans completely dedicated to a certain faction and only accepts members with a play ratio of 70-90% with that faction. Stuff like that. It'll be kind of cool.

I also wonder if developers will try to acknowledge clans. You know, for the tournaments and stuff they mentioned. And on that note, will the platform matter? They've hosted tournaments at events on the PS4, but I wonder if that's their decisive platform of choice. It would of suck for X1 and PC users. Maybe I'm getting too off-topic now.

Clan names will probably play into that. Like a clan named Bushido's Blade that only accepts Samurai.
