So there actually is a random generator for which TH mode one can play.

I can't pick, wait, I can't pick the mode that I want to play?
That kills TH for lone wolves for sure, and cut my playtime in half on this game.

Really a shame (understatement of the year here, but trying not to curse), and so easy to remedy ....
I can live with a glitch and a bug for now, but ordering gold and getting a random generator ... no.
That one wins the award for being the most ******ed implementation of game modes in a game that I know of.

hard not to agree with you.
How is it in anyway a cool feature ? You are offering us different way of playing. So ok for the beta, it's understandable but now... guys come on.

Options/Matchmaking Preferences (Upper right corner of screen), there you can filter Game Modes and Maps.

I know there is a filter but i wonder if, say, Classic was selected and all maps, if the game would cycle through all of the maps or if the random generator would end up loading the same map more than once. I'd like to play all maps one after another. Perhaps just introduce a list at the start of the match where players could vote for which one they wanted to play, as well as having a host either going with the majority vote or just selecting whichever they want. Randomness is good but needs balancing with forced settings too.

This came as a total surprise to me, when I got this. I really was interested in playing Terrorist Hunt Classic and kill all terrorist on the map. However, we don't have a choice in what mode we play in. That is very disappointing.

Yes, I agree, the current system is clunky at best and downright awful at times. Even worse (for me), the Bartlett Map isn't in the options to filter it out. That particular map gives me a terrible headache to play, to the point where I have to abandon my team before it even starts each time --- which obviously screws them over as well as wastes my time. It needs to be changed.

Make the game more like Rainbow Six. Give us the choice to pick the mode of T.H. we want to play without having to change the filter every time we want to play a different mode. I can put up without having the choice of maps but come on not being able to select the mode type is just jacked up big time.
