(Chuckle)

I remember this video from the beta-test days.... Yeah, this was never in-game.
Not sure it would really work well in practice though; take Market Street as an example:
3.9 million played on IOS
40k have plat
Somewhere between 1.1 and 2.2 million have gold. Let's call it 1.5 million.
Silver/bronze.... Who knows.
So the graph can't be the actual bell curve from the true ranking data if shown .... Plat would be squeezed small into the right 1%. It would have to be some "fake" representation like using the same bell curve above all the time. If it's not real.... It's not interesting. And are those my friends, or just the people ranked around me? If it's the ones around me we will all be tightly squeezed in the extreme right corner.... If it's my friends....well I have 400 of them so that's not gonna be readable.

. And really.... It doesn't take long AT ALL before I don't have much interest in having half my screen wasted on a fake and (meaningless) display of bronze/silver (and usually... Gold)
Don't get me wrong.... I am a statistics kind of guy and love pretty graphs as much as the next person... but it's sort of an inefficient way to show personal ranking, isn't it?
