Nissan Skyline Drag Spec - Bug or just terrible on long jumps???

    Hi!

It seems the Nissan Skyline does something really strange in drag spec on Long jump skilltests (at least for #4). It acts great in dragster challenge but in the long jumps it suddenly turns left or right (mostly) for no reason, sometimes even when the car is already in the air. Noone around, complete straight stearing, no kick in or drop off from nitro ... it suddenly acts like it was hit by someone/something. at first i thought it was just me or i had the Tuning messed up ... but after the behavior did not Change after leveling the car and seeing the exact same behaviour on all Skylines doing Long jump nr. 4 ... the idea it might be a bug came up. i also have a RUF and dodge dragster, noone of both Show any "sudden direction changes".

any other Skyline drag racers out there who can confirm the car's strange behaviour on jump 4?

    cheers from Germany

    Armin

p.s. sorry about typos and strange caps. Windows 10 does funny corrections when set to german but typing in english on the edge browser.

Sounds like you are burning off your tires before you hit the jump. Just like in the Drag races, there is a tire meter that you have to keep an eye on. If it gets to the top, you lose all traction and will spin out of control. On the jumps, the best thing you can do to mitigate this is to start at lower throttle and not go full out until you are already moving along. Save your nitro for towards the end as well as the increased HP it gives quickly burns tires away.

Hi Ender, thank you for the answer. Okay, that makes sense in a way. Although i try to do the jumps exactly how you described it. And the strange behavior only shows for the skyline and none of my other dragsters. I'll keep your comment in mind and give it a few tests on a few other long jumps.

    Cheers!
