I logged into Uplay tonight and it did an update. Then logged into game and found the mouse buttons would not work. After scratching my head and doing some googling I found out Farcry 4 is still on version 1.10.0
Uplay just will not update patches to Farcy 4. I looked in settings and it appears ok (BTW I dont see a cogwheel at the top right side of the uplay screen.
I opened the ports on my router...still no patches have downloaded.
Anyone else have similar problems?
Running Windows 10 on a new PC.
1.10.0 is the current version of the game
and it is the final patch , it was released in April of 2015 , patch history is located here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...version-number
Far Cry 4 PC version 1.10.0 patch notes:
- Multi-GPU performance improvements
- Fixed bug with grapple lose functionality on keyboard and mouse
- SMAA option is disabled for Multi-GPU
- Fixed bug with water has now fog occlusion
- Fixed crash in credits
- Added full Overrun game mode support to session browser
- Various UI fixes
that patch came out on 4 / 15 / 2015 and is the last patch released ...........both steam and the u play version should auto update your game to that version
if you purchased the game after 4/15 /2015 on Steam or Uplay your already up to date and you should see the version number 1.10.0 on your main game screen window on the lower left hand corner
its impossible to have the 1.1.0 version of the game as that would have been a pre release version or pirated stolen copy.
the night it came out on 11/18/2014 ,the game was already patched to version 1.2.0 on both Steam and the uplay only version, 1.3.0 came out shortly after release
there was a recent update to the uplay client only .. not the game ..you can get the new version here https://uplay.ubi.com
you do not have to uninstall what you have now .. simply install the updated version over top of your existing install if yours did not update properly
the latest update for Uplay just came out today 11/25/2015 ..and there was also an update twice already in November
so if you have a problem with your mouse it's got nothing to do with your game version ...as 1.10.0 is the up to date version of Far Cry 4
if your running on Windows 10 make sure you set Uplay to Run As Administrator for best results and verify your game files , windows 10 is not a fully supported operating system for the game , as the game was created before the release of Microsoft Windows 10 , it does run fine for me on both Windows 10 Home as well as Pro
