Unable to download the early acces beta | Forums

Hey there,

I can't seem to download the early access beta i was invited to because i played the last one. when i click download in Uplay it just sends me to my steam store page and nothing happens.

I am, but it hasn't showed up in my steam library either, same goes for a friend who has the exact same problem, only my friend that had purchased the game can launch it from their steam. Thanks for the quick response

I have the exact same issue. I should have access to the beta now but hitting download opens steam and nothing happens.
Additionally I have a second copy of the beta which has successfully preloaded on uplay but not unlocked.
Along with the full game pre-order waiting for launch day.

In uPlay I have 3 instances of Six Siege:

1. Today's early access
2. Tomorrows Open Beta
3. Full game pre-order.

I have downloaded tomorrows open beta but can't play it, obviously until tomorrow.

For early access it simply says download, upon pressing it I am redirected to steams store page where it seems to be attempting to sync but nothing happens. Steam just says "scanning for steam games updates"

The irony of this early access is there probably wont be a fix until tomorrow xD

Same here..
I played in the closed beta and did a full PC format after it was done so I don't have any of the files anymore.
Now when I tried to preload the game yesterday it just showed a greyed out button that said 'pre-ordered' without me ever pre-ordering the game.
I found that to be pretty weird but I decided to just wait for the open beta to start and then download it.
Today the open beta went live and the greyed out pre-ordered button changed into a "working" Download button.
When you click it however, you just get redirected to the steam store.. The reason behind this baffles me...

When I played in the closed beta I had my uplay account linked to my steam account and launched the game through steam. Thinking this might be the reason of the redirection I unlinked these accounts but that didn't help anything. Now I can't link these accounts again but that's just because there's no uplay game on my pc atm I think but that's irrelevant to the problem at hand..
