Butch and his gang have been up to their usual shenanigans and causing all kinds of trouble. We’ve been hard at work cleaning up after them to bring you an even smoother experience than before. This update does not have a new and shiny event but it’ll have lots of bug fixes and improvements to make Frontier even better. Some of the most noticeable changes and fixes in this update:

Removal of Halloween: The Village and the game icon will be changed back to normal now that Halloween is over.

Leaderboard Fixes: Several bug fixes and improvements done to the leaderboard system. These should help with the leaderboard inaccuracy issues and with the future event leaderboards.

Legal Terms Pop Up: Every game should have their own Legal Terms pop-up. Now Frontier has one too.

Freeze and Lag Fixes for Android: Fixes for when the game would freeze and lag for some of the Android players.

Challenge Track Pack 2: Challenge Track Pack 2 will be available permanently in the shop at the price of 400 gems.

Cornelius Outfit Pop Up: Cornelius Outfit pop up will have a ‘Don’t show this again’ option.

Challenge Track Pack 3 Bundle:

Hardcore Track Pack for tier 3 bikes will be sold at a discount price for a limited time. Bundle is offered after mission The Final Frontier.

6 Tracks: Scorched Battlement, Vault Crawl, Grand Moonshine, Madhouse, Woodwork Conclave, Widowmaker

Bug fixes in the upcoming update

• The camera does not follow you in the ending of the track Grease Transit.
• Daily Prospector asks for a Gold medal in a track the player has not driven.
• Issue with the Native Warrior outfit special power.
• Fully upgraded Donkey and Stallion bike stats look visually identical.

Awesome! I was already used to click it away, so that's kind of a bad sign. Now I have to get used to the fact that the notification won't pop up anymore!

well i never had any freezes nor lags in the game... BUT in this update the game is strangely laggy... it feels like the frame rate dropped hard
I have a Sony Z3 compact, so i dont think the phone is the problem cuz 2GB RAM isn't little
EDIT: I restarted my phone few times, cleared cache and suddenly started working great again thanks Sorry for whining

I took the update but then the game would not start for me at-all, it would load to the "Verifying Download" screen then simply crash every time !!

I tried every type of trouble-shooting I know then, as a last resort, I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game (which I really don't like to do) but I'm happy to report that it fixed the problem and everything seems to be loading and running fine, although it only gave me the option to log-in to Uplay after I got asked to enter-in a Nickname, which was after the 4th or 5th mission run, I entered a Nickname and then the option appeared, where-as the option always used to appear after playing the first three training levels.....Strange.....This is why I don't like uninstalling/reinstalling the game, through fear of losing my data, but I eventually managed to get everything back to normal, I just thought I'd mention it in-case anyone else has this problem, basically you just keep visiting the girl in the saloon and passing the missions she gives you until the Uplay option appears ok !!


On a different note.....Many Thanks for extending the east-side of the map so we can see and access the mine tracks a lot better, BUT.....Unfortunately you fixed it only to create the same problem again when you added the new challenge tracks because the same problem exists only it's at the end of the new challenge tracks now.....The Woodwork Conclave and Widowmaker track icons are as small as the other ones were when I asked about moving the map before (The Grindhouse icon is small as well) basically the map needs to be extended a bit more to the right again please.....If you want me to post some screen-shots to show you just let me know !?



I'm going to finish with a good note and say that I think the new Tier 3 challenge tracks are quality, Great Work, Thanks RedLynx Team !!

@ mattshotcha.....Can you stop the camera from zooming-out as far as it does, at the following point, on the new Widowmaker track.....



I play on a Samsung Galaxy S4 which has a 5" screen, which actually looks more like this to me.....



It zooms-out pretty fast when I get up onto that platform but then everything is hard to see and judge when I need to lean and accelerate etc. as it's too far out, I have to wait for it to finish zooming-out so I can try getting past the next obstacle.....It basically puts me off my run and the track is hard enough without needing to hold a magnifying glass as well !!


I hope you understand what I mean and can do something about it soon as there's no need for it to zoom-out THAT far in my opinion !?!?

Every time there's an update, I go to the saloon to see if Leroy has something to say that isn't clearly a placeholder. Still no change. I'd really like to play his missions, but I want to know what he says before. I'm almost at the point where I try to pull the apk from the phone and see if I can at least extract the English language text from it. RL, if you don't intend to fix the German translation, send me the language files, and I'll do it for some gems for my friend.

As an aside, here's how my game looked right after the update. I regret that I didn't take a screenshot of the main screen.

Thanks Matt. For info, my bunker races still speed up and slow down randomly so something is still not quite right. It's getting harder and harder to win showdowns.

This is a new thing for you? Man, I've been dealing with slowdown and speedup forever. Bunker, ghost races, even just practicing by myself. Phone heats up a bit (5 mins of playtime) and everything is wack. Only happens with this game.
