A moveable control for the radiator... I sometimes like to fly in a closed pit with no hudlog or anything. I have to count button presses to determine which position my radiator is in. I can look at throttle, pitch, trim on some planes gear,flaps.. even the K-14 guinsight knob moves..(nice touch BTW) it would be nice to have such an important feature as the radiator controls also mapped to something moveable so we coul;d see where we are without the hudlog.

    "thizs" is interesting.

Also, just a mapping of radiator to absolute commands like throttle or prop~pitch would work well.

currently this feature is in the Fiat Cr42... open the radiator and look near the throttle lever but a little lower, you will see a little level move up and down corresponding with opening/closing of radiator... to bad you don't see this in external 3d model lol

Ive noticed it in the spit and hurricane too. Bearcat, are you sure the plane you want it in doesnt show it moving? Check here http://free-st.htnet.hr/dvd/ to see info on cockpits.

Well it isnt on the P-38,40,47,39, or any of the 51s..... so it isnt available to me. It aslso isnt available on the Las, the 109s or the Laggs.. or the Yaks for that matter.. at least no that I can see. It would be nice.. i wonder how much work it would involve.

BC, with the P-38, you can look over your shoulder to see the state of the radiator flaps, and the P-47 cowl flaps are visible from the cockpit while looking forward. This trick doesn't work for the Pony or Cobra though. It would be nice to have some cockpit indication for those, if I haven't missed them, too.
