AMD FX 8350 black edition 4.0ghz octa core processor. AMD Sapphire 7870 Ghz edition 2gig video card. I do have the latest drivers.Yeah, check that you have the latest drivers. If possible, could you all list out your Processor and Graphics cards?
Hmm, looks like it's a CPU related thing but i'm not sure.
My friend's CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor 2.80 GHz
My friend's GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti [N750TI-2GD5/OCV1]
And it's kinda interesting, 'cause he said that when he was playing on old GPU (Palit GeForce GT 430 1024Mb) there wasn't any issues with his game, but after he replaced it to GTX 750 his game started to crash, and now, after Wild Run was released he's game stopped crashing, but there's an issue with map not loading properly.
That's very odd. Well if hes having that issue with a Geforce card, this could mean its not particularly a graphics card issue. Maybe it's something to do with amd processors? That's very strange if that's the case, before wild run, I had very little issues and could play the game just fine.Originally Posted by Jillas87 Go to original post
I got this issue too, but I have a temporary workaround that works most of the time: hold R to reset your car. Now, for me this only seems to happen during long faction races; also, the problem seems to reside in weather transition areas.
CPU - AMD FX 6350 4.2GHz
GPU - Sapphire HD 7950 Vapor-X (Boost) 1100 / 1400 MHz
Driver: Catalyst 15.7.1 (latest certified driver from 7/29/2015)
This only started to happen with the Wild Run patch.
It's true that there wasn't such problem with the base game, but the first time when my friend encountered this issue was in the Wild Run beta, but we thought it's just a bad beta and it would be okay when the expansion would be released, but somehow this issue wasn't fixed at the beta stage and now it's present in the main game =/Originally Posted by Danteska90 Go to original post
I'm also think it's related to weather transition areas.Originally Posted by Danteska90 Go to original post
Ok I have tried your work around, it works only in a very limited capacity, it doesn't stop the bug from reproducing, as for it being related to weather transition, I have to say that's probably a no, because in the frontier tour, the area that it happens, see my OP pic, there was no weather transition, even after I reset my car. I kept going on resetting my car each time it happened, then it got so bad, that i was going too fast, couldn't see where the error would happen coming over a bridge, then my car was stuck in 6th gear, hovering in mid air, could not reset, and the game crashed.Originally Posted by Jillas87 Go to original post
Sadly I'm gonna have to put this game down, I can't play until this is fixed, this is why Ivory tour should have beta tested EVERYTHING, not just the summit content. *sigh*
