    Is this a joke?

    1. The translation arrows are drawn on top of other objects (Congratulations you did ONE thing right).

EDIT: The relative size of the translation arrows is relative to the camera distance, good. Now what's wrong :

    2. Why are the translation arrows so damn thin now?! (Exhibit A)

    3. Why are the rotation circles still behind other objects? You guys only thought about the translation arrows? (Exhibit B)

In these images, I'm selecting an object behind the one visible on the screen. Here's the results.

    Exhibit A:

    Exhibit B:

    Try again RedLynx.

The XYZ arrows don't need to be next to the object you are moving, as the object will always move in a straight line. They are probably just drawn for reference. However the rotation circles must be centered around the object to ensure it rotates at its center. I am guessing that they are actually a texture on an invisible sphere model.

I don't even see any X Y Z arrows anymore in my game which is worse then before.

(I still see the rotation circles on both mouse or controller modes), but the mouse x y z arrows for me aren't there at all (invisible).

    Hello,

    As explained there: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...5#post11120465
We had some problems while working on that. However, I missed the rotation gizmo.
I will see what we can do for that.

I don't expect the problems of the thin lines to be fixed because it was part of the compromise to get them working.

I am more worried about TeriXeri's feedback (we also received it on Steam) and we can't reproduce it for now, we're trying to find why it doesn't appear on some PCs.

    Cheers,

Jolan, when working with the mouse instead of a controller you have to select one of the XYZ arrow to move an object. As for the pivots, I believe they are centered on every object in the game and i believe both Axis and Circles are/were actual 3D objects and not textures. Too bad they had to be replaced with debug lines.

    ------------

En0, sorry I didn't think to look back into that thread when i made my post.

I'm also sorry that I'll have to squint every time i try to move an object to make sure the arrows are highlighted but i'll get used to it.

I'm afraid to ask but when will these fixes be implemented? Will we have to wait a few more months? You could just release a PC update, call it Title Update 11.1 or something

And finally, I'm thinking Teri's issue might be related to GPU, personally I'm using a GeForce 660ti, maybe he's using an ATI. Teri?

    Hello Psycad,

If we fix it, it will be a PC only patch. I am still working with the team to find a plan.

@TeriXeri: Can you please let us know what is your GPU?

    Cheers,

    GPU is indeed ATI

    Radeon 5800 series (5870) 1 GB

Drivers tested Catalyst 15.7 and 15.11.1

    Windows 8.1

I know it's a pretty old GPU model by now so I don't know if it's an isolated issue.

Sorry to dig up old thread, is there still some solution in the works?

Ofc I can use the controller in the meantime but it's not as convenient as mouse movement was when moving things along the X Y Z axis.

Right now my arrows are still invisible, and the old ones were useable for me at least.
