I've had FAR CRY 4 for about a year and never used to have MUCH of a problem running it aside from the normal pain in the butt UPLAY hurdles that we all hate. But I recently did a fresh Windows 10 install and now for some reason I can't launch Far Cry 4. I've tried reinstalling the game three times and no luck. I'm very tech savvy and usually have no problem troubleshooting my way out of trouble so the fact that I haven't been able to solve the problem is an indication that it's a real problem for Ubisoft.
I'm beyond frustrated to the point of just walking away from it and never buying another Ubisoft game that requires Uplay. All these Uplay games are a pain in the *** anyway, and it's completely unnecessary. The frustration it caused trying to playing the last Splinter Cell game online was beyond ridiculous and now this... it's just not worth it. When it becomes more stress and work to attempt to play games than it is fun to actually play them, that's when I move on to something else.
Star Wars Battlefront comes out in a couple days and when it does, if Ubisoft doesn't get their house in order and get my problem solved, they will have seen the last of me and my wallet.for the foreseeable future.![]()
