    "Good" bands and "bad" bands don't really exist, though. It's really a case of "things that inspire me to play guitar" and "things that do not inspire me to play guitar." And we're not able to predict that on a personal level with the size of our audience. We do not even try.

    Everybody has different musical tastes; we are all inspired to pick up and play by different artists and songs. So as surprising as other people's requests for drop-D punk & metal may be to you, there's a good chance that your requests would be surprising to them, too. A little musical open-mindedness goes a long way.

    BTW, all four of the bands you cite have been contacted but we do not have currently have licensing deals with them. Some of the potential roadblacks are explained here.
