a quick question on " The Division " beta keys

I'm just kind of curious as to what is the nature of this email i got from a friend who pre-ordered the game. I guess after he got his code or key, it prompt him to invite 3 of his friends into the beta, as i have received the email stating that hes invited me into the beta. i'm just wondering if this is just to put those 3 friends onto the " waiting list beta invites " or is it a 100% guarantee " beta invite " ?

and to note that, everything on the email seems legit.

thanks if anyone can answer this question for me

    I haven't seen anything about a "friend-invite email", but then I haven't received one to know. (I haven't got any friends :P)

The only thing I've seen about "guaranteed Beta access!" has been from if you pre-order, so I'm assuming it will just put you on the waiting list; maybe with a slightly better chance of getting accepted? (I don't know how they will pick and choose who "gets in" from the Beta wait-list, so I can not say how this will actually work.)

I think the friends invite option after you register for the beta doesn't appear for EU applicants. I saw nothing of the sort when I signed up myself but when I helped a friend who had issues (and from the US region) sign up it appeared. Also in the US BETA FAQ page this question is present: "After redeeming my code, I was asked if I wanted to invite friends! Why should I do this?" but isn't present at all in the EU BETA FAQ page. When helping a friend I put one of my emails in the slots just to see if it was guaranteed access but no codes included at all and the link to the beta page in the e-mail didn't work so I highly doubt its guaranteed access, just a heads up to sign up.

i have the same problem with that email, i wonder if its a US only kinda promotion thing?

as i am from Canada, and the friend of mine who pre-order and handed out the invites are from the states. If that's the case that sucks, we became friends from meeting each other while deployed. i think the email invite worked for one friend who got stationed in Texas atm, but if that's the case that kinda is a let down. it was one of those games or beta's we looked forward to play together before we all kinda get split up or unable to communicate after the holidays.

But then again, the guy i speak of atm.... lol, has nothing other then games to spend his good old military cheque on. The guy has bought 90% of the AAA games to be released / excluding tomb raider, so he could have just been on a Game craze binge and pre-ordered it.

haven't bin able to talk to him since hes on 24 duties for a few days so, i'll have to wait until hes caught up on some sleep before i bug him.

Sorry to hear that you also got a email like mine, and are un-able to launch the link as well

    thanks

I would love to know what is the exact situation with beta key availability in general. It doesn't seem to be so that you could get a key with xbox one pre-order on any finnish retailers. Is the key availability only in US purchases? All ubisoft gives me is uplay..
