    This Update exacibated the bugs...

The editor crashes on me at least twice per 5 hour session. It comminly occurs after pressing "undo" (square). Often times after pressing "undo" it will remove a untrackable amount of work in an X time period so i must restart all work. Im so terrified of the editor now i have 5 saves per track. Ive sent sony messages each time. Not sure if they contact you guys directly so i figured i would. Love the update as im only a 5 month old player or so but before this update i had maybe 1 crash per week in editor and never this "undo" eraser. Please let me kno if ur working on this. Thanks.

At the moment, we can't reproduce the bug so we are not able to fix it.
Also, as we are ramping down the team, it becomes harder to fix anything.
We got the reports from Sony but they don't really help as they don't contain necessary information on how to reproduce.

I think you have the best strategy for now: Save as often as possible.

    Cheers,

Make absolutely sure you don't have objects on and accidentally switch to the multiplayer layer while editing. The game doesn't warn you, and doesn't save any progress of multiplayer-layer objects on a single-player track, that includes undo progress. This can happen very easily if using down on the d-pad, and accidentally hit left or right instead, you switch to multiplayer layer, don't notice when creating new objects, then hit undo once and BAM everything created since the layer switch will vanish, and put you back to layer 001. This REALLY SHOULD BE FIXED.

Also, I heard from somewhere you developer guys have an autosave feature in your editor *wink*

EDIT: Also with regard to crashing, on PC move around with mouse + keyboard as little as possible. Moving around the map significantly with those controls de-stabilises the editor and makes it prone to crashing. Gotta use the controller.

    I ave a tip

Obviously always check your layers every time you save as its so easy to forget this might have happened while you was building. A good idea is to place a ridiculous sized object on the multiplayer layer in view on your dl , then switch back to your main layer you use and this will dissapear. Then in the event of pressing square and the layers switching back , this massive object will become visable , alerting you to the switched layers.

The environment event would be good to use if you change the colour of it to say red ( warning ) not sure if logic works depending on what layer your on , i havent checked , but if it doesnt its seems it may be very effective
