Pre-Update Platinum Times | Forums

About 5 days ago, key1340 told me about an update that was made back in Feb of this year where they reduced a few Platinum Times.....

I don't now of you know but with an update that came out at the start of February some of the plat times were made slower.

So you could always go for the original plat times on them for the 100% proper plat's

Flaming Freeway oirginal plat 0:22.500 your plat 0:23.382
The Lift oirginal plat 0:24.000 your plat 0:24.476
Alpha Street oirginal plat 0:19.250 your plat 0:21.922

Since then I've managed to pass all 3 of the Original Plat times now, here's my new times.....

Flaming Freeway - it was 22:049 but after a few more tries I got 21:866
The Lift - 23:911
Alpha Street - 19:131

I can understand why they reduced the Alpha Street time as you pretty much need to have a perfect/clean run to get near it, I only just scraped the 19:131 as my front wheel got stuck on the last ramp right at the end otherwise I might have got a late 18:XXX time and I actually improved on The Lift time while playing one of the Halloween Missions !!

I'll look at improving them a bit more in time but for now I'm just happy to pass them !!


Anyway, Thanks again for the info as I hadn't heard anything about these reductions as I only started Riding the Frontier in March, Much appreciated !!

All beaten...but I was around when those were the original Plat times; all us old-timers beat it.

Alpha Street was the only one remotely difficult; I have the others beat by a couple of seconds each. Even on Alpha Street, there are 1145 people on IOS who have faster than 19.25, so... tough, but very doable. I have actually come to like Alpha Street, since its one of those that separates the men from the boys in the Bunker....

As for me I have the lift at 21.xxx
But flaming freeway and alpha street still lower times than the original plat times so will get to them in the morning racing ur ghost @fataldragon

Damn, that Alpha Street is one of the tracks I just never get good at no matter how many times I play it. I mean I can get good times, it just takes a bazillion tries to do it.

Yaaaa mate I understand what u r saying to b frank it was the last island track I platted
Its just one of the tracks I can't get right
I think it will be very difficult for me to get original plat time on it my best time on it is like 21 seconds something so....
Will take a good amount of time to get to 19.25

PS : By the way really congrats on getting 1 on android leaderboards on both cave and moonlight towers mate

Ah man I only have the lift at an original plat time. I slaved to get my plats on flaming freeway and alpha street so it's gonna be real tough to get those faster times.

Nice one xitooner, I guess most people that were around before they reduced the times had got it done but it's good to see who else knew about this and who's managed to pass these as well or even if they've tried !?

@sacpush.....You can see the times I had before I heard about this quoted in the original post I made in this thread, I had 21:922 on Alpha Street but I slowly worked my time down and passed it the other day, so I know how you feel.....I hope my ghosts help you pass them as well mate, Enjoy !!

On Fleming freeway and the lift I have a timing of 21.7xx
Alpha street it is 19.3xx, a little short of the original times,but I can get it to original plat times as I like this track.

Like xitooner, I got platinum on these when they first came out. My times:

Flaming Freeway: 21.545
The Lift: 21.891
Alpha Street: 18.199

I got them all before too. KarTank with 16.313 on Alpha Street is really impressive!

Hi mate completed all 3 tracks with original plat times
The lift at 21.687
Flaming freeway at 21.578
Alpha street at 18.716
Actually I raced ur ghost on alpha street and yaaa u could have done 18.xxx if ain't for the drag down of ur bike at the very end
And cheers mate if ain't for this thread I wouldn't have even touched alpha street at all
