O Well, I installed 15.11 and Far Cry 3/4 no longer loads? is it just me?

Restored system to 15.10 and all is well again..
umm looks like AMD borked the new drivers (AGAIN)
don't feel bad sir ... the Nvidia drivers for windows 10 are a mess too ..go back to the oldest driver you can find .. as Far Cry 3 as well as 4 were made years before Windows 10 was an OS ..and now both are trying to 1 up the other in stupid benchmarks and wrecking driver support for older titles in favor of Win 10 benchmarks with direct X 12
again its not the job of a games dev team to make a game work on corrupted drivers that were created a yr after launch
BOTH NVIDIA AND AMD are to blame for this problem with the newer drivers ....... as you can see here the problems with Nvidia owners
https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...-in-far-cry-4/
go to the final few pages of that thread to see what i mean .... have there been issues with AMD cards ? yes those too are most likely due to drivers as you have seen that yourself with a new generation of vid card .. that's not a ubisoft problem .. that's a driver problem sir

WID, AGAIN, because I am posting here does not mean I accuse Ubisoft being the culprit but merely getting other people's feedback using newer cards. I already submitted an AMD error report
However, you can't tell on this forum here to not talk about AMD problems affecting Ubi games - hence you're not entitled to broom out anyone here. No need to contact Ubi support either coz it's an AMD problem, I KNOW!
Twitter/Facebook? - I don't have an account with those and won't open one and phoning the US from Australia .. you kiddin' right?
I do wait for a better AMD driver but it does not mean my posting here is inappropriate - I hope this is not too complicated for ya? {HUMOR}
hope they fix it soon for you .... as i did see that AMD is aware of it ...and did add Far Cry 4 as a known problematic game and their Drivers with latest beta release notesOriginally Posted by Butcherbird59 Go to original post
