Yeah, I have about 2,800 sitting around. The gift box used to be pretty generous a while back. Plus you can buy them in big bundles. So if you see someone using a bunch of gold tickets, that's the game working as designed (pay to play win). Honestly, golden tickets should only be used to open up additional showdowns. The whole concept is broken in this game. Bike Race Free nailed it, just let people start showdowns with whoever they want and once they start just give them three tries for a single race. Once both players have used all their tries, give the results and let them choose if they want to play again. That design is soooo much better and more fun. The showdown format in Trials Frontier frankly sucks. You have to sit around babysitting them and then one player may choose to unload a ton of tickets to win. Bad design.

Im guilty of one spending Many many GTs in showdown.
Had berzerker on sine city and I had to improve my PR. spent about 30-40 tickets. . And the result :


BUT i didn't even try those 2 other tracks, so I lost the showdown.

About the tickets I got... all by gifting, none are bought.

It's a pretty old phenomenon in online gaming, but it annoys me when clueless people are calling out "hackers" and "cheaters", when it's really just a question of their ignorance...
