Ah,there is this thing - it is awkward that Saleen and etc stock cars behave much better than their perf spec ones. The reason behind this is that it would throw the balance off with circuit cars...I don't mind the way it is at the moment and I'd prefer the speeds to be lowered even more...It is a bit unreal for raid spec car go 250km/h (same goes for monster trucks)...And as much as I know, then dirt cars should be limited to 180m/h like real WRC event cars...
If he's complaining about this, wait until he notices that the Konigsegg perf spec is over 70mph slower than the stock.
The specs work for the lesser cars. When you get into supercars and hypercars, you have to look at it this way, pretty much most of them come almost as perfectly tuned as they are going to get from the factory. Sure you can make some mods, but in the end, it will always take away from something in order to increase something else. In this case, they are done that way for balance reasons (almost every performance car in the game tops out around 220mph without nitro). It makes for a far more balanced game. When Wild Run comes out and we can make our own events, you can actually take out your full stock supercars agains whatever spec your friends want and have real races.
Now if they would only get rid of that silly catch up mechanic or at least give us a way to disable it. My sons circuit Corvette hit 270mph (with no nitro) the other night because of it letting him try to catch up with me in a race. I get that it is a nice thing to have to keep races competitive, but it gets really silly at times and needs to be removed. Way unevenly matched cars should not even be a close race, not rubber banding back and fourth for the lead because of a catch up mechanic.
The balance you say? Bloody LaFerrari is unbeatable with same skill, and can make as many mistakes as the driver want. Every other P car can keep up only with 2 reasons -Originally Posted by Enderw02 Go to original post
1 - you have the slipstream (thats imbla, but kinda works for everyone same way)
2 - LaFerrari driver born with hands growing out of his arse.
You call THAT a balance? And yes,my koenig dusted alot of useless Ferrari drivers, but when this monster in the hands of person who know what the hell is this spinning stuff before him - Ferrari becomes not just annying, but griefing car.
p.s. and its not all - Ferrari can use nitro in any moment that much as he wants. Koenig(or tbh, alot of cars) should tap it,or leave it. If you push it hard - you will spin and gg.
You are corrct and there are so many compliants on this in the forum. One or two cars in each spec are competetive and the rest collect dust in the garage. The mods tell us that a patch on nov 17 the balance problems will be addressed (same time as WR is made available). Lets hope they will.Originally Posted by Dewinaeth Go to original post
I think fullstock performance needs to be as realistic as possible regardless of the specs.
