Is World Dance Floor gone on Just Dance 2016 and just replaced with the lame World Video Challenge?
Is it going to come back?
I used to play it on the Wii and now that I have a PS4 I wanted to experience it in Full HD, but it seems that the mode isn't available, or I just can't find it.
The Wii U version does not have the World Dancefloor. It appears to be have been replaced by the World Video Challenge.
If you don't mind not having the Unlimited service then return the Wii U version and buy the Wii version. The Wii version (along with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3) have the World Dancefloor. You can buy the Wii version and play it on your Wii U. (On the gamepad screen with all the icons, you click the one that says Wii and it'll take you to the Wii menu and you can play JD2016 on there)

PS4, Xbox One and WiiU Just Dance 2016 version have a feature similar to World Dance Floor, called World Video Challenge. It works similarly to WDF, only now you can also shoot a video of yourself scoring high score. Others can try to beat it, just like in WDF, they can also shoot a video of themselves doing that and send it back to you.

PS: I moved the posts from another topic here, as they were quite similar.
But it's not the same thing, since I don't play against hundreds of players, but just against one. Like I said, I don't get it how you're going to make the qualifiers for next year's tournament without that feature, since it's not global but 1v1.Originally Posted by UBI-Zuzu Go to original post
I Agree, World Dance Floor was great to play with many other people and even challenge your friends, in Xbox 360 they used to join my party and all play together compiting for the best score, also it was great to see you are in the 1st place and your monthly score, hope it comes back in a new update![]()
I think that's the only online mode. I'm not too sure also on how they would do the qualifiers for next year's, but that's next year so there's still a long way to go for them to think about how they can incorporate it.Originally Posted by DanKenway11 Go to original post

On World Dance Floor you can accually play online - at the same time - with many other real players.
In World Video Challange you play alone against recorded performance of another single player (not sure if this player has to be online when you play).
I dare to say - this is a big difference...
I can see the advantages of new mode (*) - but as a replacement for WDF... well... it is rather poor one.
Let's put it this way:
I played many hours in JD15 and when I finally decided to try WDF - I enjoyed it and played for hours.
In JD16 I tried WVC twice (just to get uplay bonus) - and I am not really sure if I will go for it anymore...
(*) yes, I imagine you can pick a challenge - rally hard one - and try and try, and try it again and again - until you win. Probably will give you a fun. Esspecially if the other player will be someone from your friends... or maybe a VIP person? Or (not sure if this supposed to work this way) if you can send your performance as a challenge to your friend, then thay can beat it and send new score back to you - so you can try to beat it and so on...
Still... it is completly different experience than online play on WDF.
