Please do the following:
-make sure that your console has all the updates for firmware and Just Dance 2016 installed
-make sure that your version of the app is updated.
-make sure that your console and phone with which you wanna play are connected to the same Wi-Fi.
Doing all things mentioned above should help.

Also, please remember that there are two Just Dance applications - there's Just Dance Now app and Just Dance 2016 Controller app. Be sure that you're using the second one if you want use phone as a controller in the game.
