Hey guys, as time goes I'll be posting issues I find on Just Dance Unlimtied service. Here are the first I've noticed:
- "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha: audio quality was poor, you guys should check that out.
- "Part Of Me" by Katy Perry: the dance moves are TOTALLY off with the music. You can easily notice all over the song about this.
I'll keep updating this.
Please Ubi guys check that out.
Thanks!
"Pound the Alarm" by Nicki Minaj: the dance moves are 2 BEATS ahead of the song. This is such an evident issue. How can you guys release stuff like this!?Originally Posted by UBI-Zuzu Go to original post![]()
I've played TiK ToK before and I didn't notice anything wrong. (Although that was probably just me not really paying attention or noticing about it) As for Part of Me and Pound the Alarm, I'll wait until those get fixed according to this.
What I have noticed is difficulty getting 5 stars on some songs. I already talked about how difficulty it was getting 5 stars on TBWMFW and talked a little bit of the same thing I'm an Albatraoz, but from the songs I've played so far these songs are difficult to get 5 stars on. (I've 5 starred them all, but I'm just saying it wasn't relaxing or "fun" to get them)
Fame (Kinda the same thing I had with TBWMFW with strict tracking mixed with only a few detections, but since there isn't a lot of movements in that song for me personally it'd just be making them less strict)
Cotton Eye Joe (I played this first on the phone and the first few moves were pretty easy, but then afterwards the rest of the dance that weren't those moves were the ones I had trouble doing them the way the dancer did it on screen. After I tried with the Wii remote and quit early on because I was doing the same motions but I was getting less points from it)
We R Who We R (Always had trouble with prior to JDU on the Kinect so I knew from the get-go that it was going to be hard to get 5 stars and it was)
Don't Worry Be Happy (I had to try all 3 dancers to end up getting 5 stars)
E.T. (It's not bad except for the end moves after the move where she swings one arm across and then does it on the other side. Then it starts to fall apart. Although getting the final gold move is easy so that's good)
Teenage Dream (Not too sure since I played it a while back. I think it's not too bad it's just not a certainty of getting 5 stars easily, but I'm not sure)
I mention these tracking things because I'm the type of person that wants to complete stuff, but I also wanna have fun while doing it and having to struggle and alternate between positions to earn the 5 stars takes the fun out of doing these. I want to play and not worry about wondering if I'm going to make that 5th star and also appreciate all the time they took to remake all of these songs without making me think "Ugh that was too hard to get I'm not playing that again".
Is anyone else having trouble unlocking the AVATARS for Miss Understood (JD 2014) and Primadonna (JD 4) for the Xbox One? I have been able to unlock every avatar except for those two even though I've played both more than once, my scores for them show up on the leaderboards, and I have rated both of them.
I have the Wii U, played Primadonna, and have not gotten the avatar for it. It's a glitch. (From that comment I'm assuming it's all around the three consoles)Originally Posted by SteveDDR Go to original post
On another note,
I've been playing more songs on the Unlimited service recently and so far they're mostly on point with tracking. I did notice though that the tracking in Birthday is not nearly spot on. (I barely got 5 stars and that was on I think the fourth time from a combo of Wii remote and Phone) I ended up twirling my phone around in a circle during one move to get a better rating than OK (Which is what I mostly got when actually doing the move on both Wii remote and phone)
There were a few that are in between good and bad in terms of tracking, like Walk Like An Egyptian and My Main Girl, but I'm undecided on whether it's worth mentioning it or not. (I guess I contradicted myself there. Whoops)
Soul Searchin' was one I did a while ago and I guess it's worth mentioning here as well, since that was another song I barely got 5 stars on. (I think the tracking during the bridge mostly was the main call, although it was a while since I've played it so I'm not sure)

Thank you for your feedback, we will report this issue to the Just Dance dev Team.
These songs have small but noticeable sync issues:
"Cotton Eyed Joe" by Rednex
"Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry
"California Gurls" by Katy Perry
"E.T." by Katy Perry
"Die Young" by Ke$ha
"Primadonna" by Marina and the Diamonds
"Roar" by Katy Perry
"Rock N Roll" by Avril Lavigne
"The Other Side" by Jason Derulo
I have played all of those songs, and I didn't really notice them, although now that I think about it more they were a little (like very very very slightly) off, but nothing cringe-worthy that made them unplayable.Originally Posted by mzompicchiatti Go to original post
What is cringe-worthy for me is not being able to play the game at all on the Wii U ever since the new songs were added. (When I load the game it freezes at the main screen, the one right before you choose which method you'll play) I've talked about it on a Support Ticket and I haven't gotten a response from it, but I hope they are at least aware that it exists.
Also, prior to this issue happening, I was playing some of the songs and it turns out that the reason why I kept noticing how I found it hard to earn 5 stars on some songs was not so much of a tracking issue, but a rhythm "issue". It's a bit hard to explain without visuals, but yeah it's not really a tracking issue.
