Character/gear weight and how it effects your character is something that has been brought up to the developers. We had a chat about it a couple times now. I can't share any specifics with you guys, but some good information was brought to the table.Originally Posted by SuperBiscotCOT Go to original post

Can you share how in depth the convo is? Is it just heavy = slow? or as deep as - wet gear weighs more and effects speed dropping your ruck for the assult makes you more mobile ect?Originally Posted by Cortexian Go to original post
More then enough.Originally Posted by Cortexian Go to original post
Kind of off topic- do you guys compare things to other games and give them names? can you give us names of games you say good things about?
This would be an amazing question for the Off-Topic section of the forums.Originally Posted by Ghost Sniper33 Go to original post![]()

I was jsut hoping we could get a list of 4 or 5 games we can start looking at to take thigns from..
At the level of communication we were having with the developers, it wasn't as simple as looking at other games and saying "oh hey, they did this really well, take that idea/system and put it in Wildlands"!
It doesn't really work like that, by the time we were shown the game, it was clear that the developers had a core idea in place for what they wanted the game to be. That idea was presented with the E3 reveal trailer. And open world Ghost Recon with cooperative play in a MASSIVE environment larger than any other action game world that Ubisoft has created...
I don't want to discuss other games that we talked about, as I don't think it would be proper of me... I don't think Ubisoft would mind that much, but it just doesn't seem right on the Wildlands forum. This is a personal decision on my part. Though it does fall into a category of my NDA which basically says "you can say what topics you talked about, but not specific items that were talked about".
I know you guys are all super-hungry for information about this fantastic game... I wish I could get an all-access pass to tell you about every little morsel of information that we gleaned from the developers, but alas... That is not how the professional game development world works.
