You know I wouldn't mind 10-12 weapons which can be heavily modified....in lieu of 40 weapons with limited customization options.

No. Sounds like a neat idea for realism and immersion, but in reality it's just not fun. Games are primarily about fun.

I don't think having weapon jams is a good idea either. Also considering Ghosts are the best of the best America has to offer for soldiers you would think they know how to field strip and clean a weapon before a mission. The only time I can see it making any sense is in the ice cold snow and you had just submerged your weapon in water. You could freeze up your gun that way but a soldier is more than likely to run the action a couple times to free it up.

You gun geeks out there should check out upcoming game called Esacpe from Tarkov. You can pretty much modify your weapon anyway you want in it.

    ^^^^^ This + 100

Also, I kinda hate the fact that we get to use the best weapons on the last mission instead of having the options to it from the beginning... that was one of the things I did not like even when playing OGR

Also maybe you can save for a gun a version of it (with attachments you choosed ) and call it "longue range" .
And the same for "short range" it will save time rather than changing all attachments of a gun.

well, at least I want to see weight implemented in the new GR Wildlands, lighter characters can climb more stuffs, extended sprint length or faster sprinting, and faster movement speed, and of course added option to carry more ammo

Arent heavier guys(more muscle mass) able to carry more ususally?

It would be cool if you had the tradeoffs that you had to consider when building your charcater - and it wasn't jsut a "Scott Mitchell/Ding Chavez" given to you
