So, you are constantly told within the game that you dont 'have' to unlock the bridge for 95 gems.....






Oh, whats this i see....





As if this whole update hasn't been a mess already, then this starts happening.

For me it was:
Till the moment I unlocked the Island, I got Prospector missions there In this way I was forced to unlock it...
After unlocking tracks missions appear there in frequency as any other track.

Those missions are optional. You don't HAVE to do the ghost misisons. You don't HAVE to participate in the Halloween event. So the Prospector is right: it does not block your progress, because nobody forces you do those missions.

I have been pretty much 'forced' to do every update to the game so far. So if the events are in theory, forced upon me, then why cant i do them, without spending gems? Hmmm?

False. You are never forced to do them. Don't want to grind for Horseshoes? Then don't. Don't want to grind for Halloween event points? Then don't. All those events, including Hardcore Island / Reaper's Finger, are completely optional and nobody forces you to play it, except for yourself. Sorry - but that's just the way it is.

And by the way - you can unlock the bridge without spending real life money. Just do some of those "do stuff, earn gems" offers and you'll have those 95 gems in no time.

They don't force you to do anything but they do make it very inconvenient to not follow the flow. Thats acceptable for a free-to-play game, however irritating you may find it. There is no goal in this game you can't meet for free... It will usually take some grinding though.

If you put your mind to it, you can collect enough gems to meet any goal without too much trouble. It's gotten even easier now that they added Tapjoy; I make more gems than I know what to do with, all without giving my anything more personal than a throw-away email address.

are you complaining about the skeleton mission or the pumpkin? the skeleton i guess i could understand but its wholly optional, i dont remember what you get for beating them all.

As for pumpkins, you wouldnt have gotten pumpkins there if you hadnt unlocked the island, so seems strange to complain about that

Ghost for all Island golds gives Purifier level.
