    Uplay Recommended Drop #67

Once again, riders, it’s time for some new tracks created by you, our awesome community of track builders to hit the Uplay Recommended feed on Track Central. We’ve got another 5 tracks to share this week. Let’s take a look at what you’ll find next time you load up Uplay Recommended.

    Malibu Morning by SwampBalls
    Mode: Trials
    Difficulty: Easy
    Original Platform: Playstation 4

Malibu Morning is the result of a challenge handed to SwampBalls by his wife who also builds tracks (a Trials building couple, how romantic <3). The challenge was to create a track without using animation and Malibu Morning crushes it. This fast paced track has a surprisingly relaxed feel as you dash across the sand to your final destination. Sound is used to great effect to set the atmosphere and the details scattered across the beach all feel like a natural part of the environment. This one is pretty safe for all skill levels so there’s no excuse to not take a trip down the beach.

    Frontier Fusion [K95] by koumick95
    Mode: Trials
    Difficulty: Medium
    Original Platform: Playstation 4

The Frontier love continues with this creation from koumick95. Frontier Fusion takes not one, but two tracks & themes from the mobile Trials Frontier and fuses them together (I see what you did there, koumick). You begin in a pretty solid recreation of the desert themed track Wall Crack. From there you make your way into a cave themed section that doesn't appear be an exact recreation of any specific track but more using the theme from the cave tracks like Underground Slopes. This track is fun to play and joins two very different themes together nicely. If you enjoy both the mobile & console Trials games this is a must play custom track.

    Laid to Rust by ConfusedMuscles
    Mode: Trials
    Difficulty: Hard
    Original Platform: Xbox One

After Mr. Muscles last beautiful but brutal Uplay Recommended track Heat of the Knight I was little nervous when loading up Laid to Rust. The line is a bit technical but while this is no walk in the park it didn’t have me showing my rage face. In fact the more I played this track the more I liked it. Is this rusted out drive line an old abandoned outpost or simply a rubbish pile for the residents of the Rustlands? Either way it’s a blast to ride and the stark lighting gives it a cool look to boot.

    Desperada by CouPaIn GoTiEr
    Mode: Trials
    Difficulty: Hard
    Original Platform: Xbox One

We’ve seen many takes on western themed tracks since the introduction of the Big Sands in Trials Evolution and through the life of Trials Fusion. This week our Awesome Adventure Homework Challenge winner CouPaIn GoTiEr brings us a new take on this familiar theme. Something in Desperada feels a bit out of the ordinary. The shallow depth of field and hazy lighting give this track an almost ethereal feel & the run down wooden structures mixed with some more modern tech makes it feel like a track lost in time in the best possible way. This was another one I had a lot of fun running again and again to improve my time and one really tough to nail timesaver midway through had me trying again and again even after getting a solid no fault run.

    Hospitalized by kalianhagle
    Mode: Trials
    Difficulty: Extreme
    Original Platform: PC

Our award for hardest Uplay Recommended track of the week goes to our Featured Builder for October kalianhagle. This track was a challenge but well worth the sweat and tears to complete. I personally found the first obstacle to be one of the hardest so if you can get past that you are well on your way. Hospitalized has a great custom hospital theme, something I don’t recall seeing before, and manages to make a very sterile environment still feel alive and real. Littered with custom objects like MRI machines and all kinds of other hospital equipment this track is killing the medical themed competition. There are even some cool little easter eggs hidden in plain sight.

There you have it riders. Five new creations to test your might no matter your skill level are available now on Xbox One, Playstation 4 & PC.

As always be sure to let us know what tracks you’ve been enjoying lately in the Uplay Recommended Nominations thread on our forums. Until next week, riders, keep cranking that throttle and I’ll see you on the leaderboards.
