New Outpost Map "Holy Rock night"

I created this map with the following ideas:
    • After landing in the target area, you can "earn money" looting the dead enemies and selling flowers from the fenced flowers.
    • In the store you can collect and upgrade your weapons.
    • You should keep the red and blue flowers for make the enemies visible, that makes it easier.
    • There are several possibilities for starting your approach. I recommend using the blue doors in the buildings.
    • Make sure, to disable all alarms, before climbing up the rock.

It took me a very long time, to create this map. PLEASE: If you give my map a negative voting, let me know why and what I can make better.

    Have fun!

Nicely done. An original and interesting concept. I wish there had been a little more cover out there in the flat lands. With so little ammo inside the outpost, it was necessary to return to the store a few times, and it always seemed to be when I had a dozen or more soldiers chasing me. Not a big deal, I ended up in the water most of the time, and waited until things calmed down to sneak back there. It was a difficult map that took quite a while to complete, but I like them that way. Had me stumped for a while trying to find the grapple spot under the holy rock. Good thing the icons show through walls and rock so at least I knew to look up. How did you make that perfectly cylindrical hole?

As soon as I started this one I knew I had played it before, died early on and forgot to go back for a second try. Even though you put clues and signs in the map, I did not realize on the first play through that it actually was a store that you could buy things at. I just picked up weapons from what was on the table and headed out. The lack of a silenced sniper rifle made that first journey a quick one. This time I knew better, but only because of your post here.. In fact, I didn't know you could actually have a store in a a user map. First time I have seen that done. Hope to see more from you.

rjdrive , thank you very much for that detailed feedback. It was very instructive to me.

I Thought, that there are enough bushes to hide, when you come to a dangerous area. Perhaps I could put more cover objects too.

With so little ammo inside the outpost, it was necessary to return to the store a few times, and it always seemed to be when I had a dozen or more soldiers chasing me.
I didn't recognize that, when I tested the map, because I prefer sneaking and killing with the crossbow. So I can collect the arrows again from the killed enemies. Hiding the killed bodies would be very helpful. But I learned: I should place more additional ammo inside the "hot areas".

How did you make that perfectly cylindrical hole?
These are two or three wells, one upon the other. You can load the map and open it in your Map Editor, to see, how it's done.

In fact, I didn't know you could actually have a store in a a user map. First time I have seen that done.
I saw that in some maps before and I found it very cool, to upgrade or buy weapons by your own. But in the other maps I didn't find enough money, to do that. So I put a lot of flowers, which you can sell to the storekeeper and a few dead bodys, where you can find money. Now it is possible to upgrade e.g. the sniper rifle with a silencer and even the crossbow or the bow with a better aiming facility. I've never seen that anywhere.
To put a store in a user map, you need a "Map Editor Mod". You'll find descriptions and download possibilities in this forum.

Hope to see more from you.
For sure. I created some more maps already, but I will improve them with that, what I've learned and publish them again.

It's a pity, that it is not possible, to add a short description or introduction to a map. HELP UBISOFT!!!

I was never a big fan of the crossbow. Several times I used it thinking it would be silent, and it alerted nearby enemies. My preferred one handed weapon was the sawed off double barrel shotgun. For stealth I used the full size bows and the silenced sniper rifle. But I can see after playing many user maps, by the fact that the crossbow is included in almost all of them and the sawed off is often not, that I may be in the minority there.

You could be right about the crossbow being less silent than the bow but I've never noticed it. I like either one but prefer the crossbow because it doesn't block your vision as bad and is a lot faster than the bow. I use the crossbow quite a bit if the silent sniper rifle not available.
